Accurate proofing hydrometer.
Not for low alcohol testing, such as beer and wine. I have another hydrometer for that. Arrived in a bubble wrap envelope. Hydrometer was in a hard, square plastic tube, wrapped in more bubble wrap. Don't see how it could be broken in transit, unless some heavy person stepped on it. Checked it with store vodka, it was accurate.

I couldnt understand how decipher the values brodu
I ended up returning this because I couldnt understand the readout. however its a well made durable product.

Not Very Accurate !
Overall it was fine, it works but it is not accurate. i tested it 3 times with two different liquors at room temp and it was inaccurate every time. I tested 80 proof French Vodka twice and it read 90 Proof both times. I also tested 190 Proof Everclear and it tested as 196 Proof. It would be nice to get a product that is accurate, this one is not but i can deal with it and compensate somewhat.

Waste of money and time
There is not enough of the red wax at the bottom so just it floats at the top and before I added stuff it didn't sink more when I add honey or anything

the glass is way to thin. it broke inside the protective plastic case. it was accurate but not dependable.
