I use this EZ straws to mulch my vegetable bed and young tree in pot to protect them from the summer heat. The straws are easy to spread out and don't being blow away by the wind.

Great starter kit, or for deck flower pots
This is an excellent starter kit for anyone starting out with drip irrigation in containers. Very easy to set up, and it works great. Very reasonably priced, too. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Summer Self Irrigation System
This is a fantastic, beginner-friendly starter kit. The tan vinyl tubing holds up incredibly well to intense summer heat without warping or heating up the water. The 1/2 GPH self-regulating emitters are great for consistent watering. The only drawback is that the included 10 emitters go fast. While the system can easily scale up to 30 pots, you will definitely need to buy extra extension parts if you have a larger layout. So it's not as cost efficient.
