These watering timers last about 3 years before the shut-off valve stops working. So, it turns on at the programmed time, but it doesn't turn off reliably. Nevertheless, as long as they work, they free you from watering, and you can program each one for the specific water needs of the crops on that soaker hose. I have gone on trips and come back to a thriving garden. For the price, they are a valuable tool. Easy to instal, easy to programl. Can even use with a splitter for two hoses if you want to water more area.

I have been using these Orbit Hose timers for many years with great success insuring my plants are watered at often as needed. These timers are reliable and last for years if taken care of. They are programmable and the instructions are very easy to follow. They are user friendly and I highly recommend them.

I have 3 of these. Easy to program. I've had 2 for about 5 weeks. Waters every day at 6pm. So I bought another one for another space. They do say to put them away during freezing weather 😒.

Very to set watering times and so far very reliable. It seems very durable. I doubt a better product could be designed. Except for the inlet and outlet hose connectors which are plastic and too thin to be considered durable.

I already owned one and bought two more. Good alternative to in-ground irrigation. I use them on newly planted trees at a remote property. Very reliable. Batteries (AA) last at least 6-8 months.

This timer is super easy to use. My needs were fairly simple; turn on once every two days for 30 minutes at a specified time. Including booking it up, I had the timer ready to go in 90 seconds. I would highly recommend.

It's a very good controller! It's your shipping that's the problem This was a second purchase of this product on-line. The last time it was available as a “store pick-up”. This time it had to be shipped to my address. So, I crossed my fingers and prayed it might arrive ok. Nope!! This makes 2 strikes against you.

I love this faucet timer. Initially just used it for the garden while on vacation but ended up keeping it for the convenience factor. I love not having to manually water the garden anymore. And will definitely be using it next gardening season. I put batteries in it to start it and have not needed to replace them yet. It also has a feature to turn the hose on outside of the scheduled watering times so I can fill the kiddie pool or run the slip and slide without having to take off the faucet timer which I love.

Constantly loses track of time, so you never know when it will turn on. I discovered this the hard way after some of my plants burned up from being watered at the wrong time.

It was easy to program and I got it set up and it would water from 5 in the morning until 6 but today being only two weeks it did not shut off. I shut the water off but I don't know if I can get it to work again or not. I was hoping it would last a lot longer than two weeks.
