PSVR - Astro Bot - Moss Bundle

Tulio December 25, 2018

I've played with the Oculus Rift VR and have noticed that the responsiveness is a little more controllable than the PSVR, but that's because with the Oculus Rift you're able to set up your personal space according to the area you're going to play in. I'm playing in a small bedroom, which is my fault for starters, as Playstation has you set up the camera at least 8ft away for optimal performance. Besides that little hiccup from my end, this product is amazing! I absolutely love that it comes with its own unique in-ear headphones to help give you a surround sound experience. This works especially well when you use it in conjunction with your TV speakers playing at certain levels. The headset has a volume button to help you balance the output volume from your in-ear headphones and whatever volume you have previously set up on your TV. The experience with both the Astro Bot and the Moss VR games are incredibly beautiful! The detail of both worlds are fantastic and both games have very telling stories! Overall this product gets a 5/5 stars from me with my experience. I highly recommend it for others interested in getting an affordable VR headset.

VR done right

Happy December 6, 2018

Amazing piece of technology with a great library. I play it a lot more than my oculus. The accessibility and comfort with this be head set is amazing. I can comfortably wear it for hours which is not the case with the oculus. If you are looking to get into VR this is the best place to stop especially if you already own a PS4. You also know you are getting the best exclusives ASTRO bot is amazing and should be up for game of the year. It's Mario 64 type of good.

Needs wireless! Otherwise it's pretty cool

Awesome November 4, 2019

So far I like iit. Only thing I would change if I could was to make it wireless it's annoying with the wires when playing games like richie's plank. Other than that it works great

Great 1st generation

Jznrpg December 15, 2018

Best Library by far and it's inexpensive if you already have a PS4 . AstroBot, Moss , Borderlands 2 Resident Evil 6 are must have . Can't wait for next gen PS5 and PSVR2 because they will even be better

Fun, just needs a larger gaming library

JWS9518 December 15, 2018

I have been wanting this for a while, but waited until the second version came out with a bundle that included some games went on sale, before I grabbed it. I got this bundle because I wanted some games that I haven't already played through and I didn't need the move controllers, since I already had them, so for the price, this is was my only option. With that being said, there is a limited selection, so far, of VR or VR compatible games that don't feel like glorified demos and it almost feels like this is a niche product. I am hoping as time goes by, there will be some more fully developed games for the headset. Comfort-wise, the headset is ok, but it does take some time to get a proper adjustment for your head and can get steamy and foggy inside the goggles. Keep in mind that this is version 2 of the headset with the slight improvements over the first version that came out a couple years ago. One future wish is to have a wireless headset instead of having to deal with the cords. Graphically, the headset does feel like a bit of a step down from a 4K PS4 pro and tv, as the graphic capability just isn't quite up to that just yet. With that being said though, the two included games, do look good. Moss is especially beautiful, but unfortunately a bit short. Astro bot is fun as well and was my first use of the headset which was a wild sensation of the senses when I first put this on. Sometimes the tracking gets a little lost and there are times when the games aren't clear in how you are supposed to do things. The included demos give a good idea at the potential of the headset though, but most of the games that seem to be out for the moment appear to be just expanded demos. Although I can only play for limited time as the headset gets hot and tiring to wear on the head and the eyes, it is fun gaming accessory though. I just hope more quality games are made. 4 stars

PSVR is the real deal

Anonymous January 17, 2019

It really feels like VR. The gaming library is really good, and over more time should get a lot better. There are room for improvements though - a lot of cords to deal with so depending on space or location they may be difficult to hide. - play in spurts. certain games (Resident Evil 7) can cause some motion sickness if played for a long period at once. Overall the experience has been great and I would strongly recommend.

Super cheap

Josh November 28, 2018

1 star, ive only had mine for a month and it blinks in and out in the screen, haven't even done rough play with it, haven't dropped it hit my head with it nothing, cheap piece of plastic that just flashes in and out crazily, annoying, your better off getting the oculus, it's 50 extra dollars but it's not as garbage as this excuse of vr
