I'm super happy with this generator! I bought it “just in case” for Hurricane Francine. Well, I absolutely ended up needing it because we have major damage. First, this generator is very light! You can easily pick it up with one hand. Second, it starts right up and is very quiet. As of now, I'm using it to power a couple box fans and my refrigerator. I used it earlier today to power lawn tools for cleanup. I plan on using it to power my washer and dryer (one at a time, of course). Overall, this is a GREAT BUY!!
Simple set up. Fired right up and ran it for over an hour nice and smooth. Tried some appliances out and it ran a 26 cubic ft fridge, 750 watt heater and charged my electric power bank all at the same time and hardly even revved. So far so good. Oh and I love the funnel that came with it that screws on. Going to make oil changes easier.
Recently, I made a purchase through Walmart that exceeded all my expectations. I bought a Pulsar generator, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the start, the purchasing process was extremely easy and convenient. Walmart's website is intuitive, and with just a few clicks, I completed the purchase. The delivery was incredibly fast! In less than 48 hours, the generator was at my doorstep, which really impressed me. The packaging was impeccable, ensuring the product arrived in perfect condition. As for the generator itself, the Pulsar is simply fantastic. One of its main advantages is how quiet it is. Unlike other generators I've had, this model operates so quietly that you hardly notice it's on. It's ideal for use at home or while camping without disturbing the neighborhood or environment. Besides the low noise level, the Pulsar generator offers excellent performance. It is robust, reliable, and has great energy generation capacity, making it perfect for my daily needs. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend both the Pulsar generator and Walmart's delivery service. If you're looking for an efficient and quiet generator with quick and hassle-free delivery, the Pulsar from Walmart is the perfect choice.
Small compact and easily moved from place to place..
I have a pop-up camper and this is running the whole thing plus a TV and an electric heater. The cable has a gas heater that is running but with the extreme cold the extra heater helps because I'm disabled and I can't move around that much to stay warm. It started up on the first pull with no problem and doesn't even sputter nor do the lights dim when the gas heater kicks on. I am VERY happy with this little generator and I am going to get another one when I can afford it for backup and a just in case.
I am really happy with this. I can pick it up with one hand. Its a little heavy but i like that i don't need help. I took off the side panel, just two screws, put in the pre measured bottle of oil and put the panel back on. I then put in the correct amount of no E gas. I turned the dial to choke and was able to start it for the first time with 3 easy pulls. Moved the dial to run and we were able to continue our conversation without yelling over the sound. I turned it off and started it a couple more times. The other starts were just one easy pull. Very happy with this
Worked very well. Can't beat for the price. As good as any on the market. Recommend. One thing I did not like is at wide open the RPMs seamed quite high. I checked them and was at about 4200 rpm. I'm a small engine mechanic/ welder and pulsar say it's set properly according to manual. I lowered rpm to 3700 wide open. Might have lost a little power but I think it was a good trade considering it will make engine last a fair time longer I believe. But what do I know I'm just a mechanic. Worst thing is it's white , was white. My hands are usually black after work . So wash hands before handling. But all in all it was a great buy greAt product price can't be beat
I bought this generator just in case because the old house I was in had a lot of power outages it can only run either a portable AC or a mini fridge it cannot run anything else with it it has to be one or the other I cannot run the filter for my aquarium or the air supply I cannot run a fan I bought it because all the reviews said you could run multiple items unfortunately those don't seem to be the case with mine and it's not as quiet as it says it was I can hear it half a block away
It was stolen right after receiving it… and I called to get the serial number per had not opened the box. I purchased an extended warranty from you and not even that was taken care of… when I finally spoke with a person after AI would not let me through with the help of the extended warranty people… your agent that had such a strong accent that maybe she couldn't understand my need was the serial number… that is all I asked for and explained it was not Walmart's fault it was taken… she insisted that I be refunded per such a loyal customer. You sent a survey that I gave you and her a glowing review. Based on lies… per you immediately sent out email stating no refund would occur per your policies… Now off to your competitors… I had just bought bed and iPad and shopped with you almost weekly… I did not ask for refund, but if you are going to use foreign people to answer your calls at least honor their word… No thank you Walmart
Save yourself from a serious hazard and a company that does not stand behind its product. I plugged in my phone to test this generator during a power outage. Within the first 20 minutes, my extension cord and charger brick melted. When I contacted Pulsar, they tried to shift the blame to my cord and charger, even though I had used both for years without any issue. Pulsar also admitted the generator is supposed to have a built-in breaker to shut the unit off in the event of an electrical hazard, but that never happened. I had to shut it off myself after noticing the melting. They eventually agreed to replace the generator, which would have been reasonable, except they refused to provide any real help with the return. They told me I had to mail the defective unit back, but also made it my responsibility to figure out how to drain the gas and oil, properly dispose of those hazardous materials, package the machine, and make sure it did not even smell like gas. They also warned that if anything leaked during shipping, I could face penalties or fines. That is not a realistic or reasonable expectation for the average person, especially for a generator that was used for only about 20 minutes before it created a fire hazard. I bought this as a product to use, not as a project requiring tools, mechanical work, hazardous material disposal, and shipping compliance just to get warranty service. When I asked for a more reasonable solution, Pulsar acted like they were doing me a favor by offering a replacement at all and framed the issue as though I was just unwilling to return it. That is false. I was willing to return it, but they refused to provide a safe and workable way to do so. Walmart also told me they could not take back a used engine containing oil or gas. This is not buyer's remorse. This was a dangerous product failure followed by an unacceptable warranty experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding Pulsar products.
