PUR Classic 18-Cup Dispenser

Decided to purchase this after spending too much money on bottled water for the kids. It is large in size but perfect for a big family, and fits on the top shelf of the fridge nicely. We just started using it, and the kids love it. We did a test to see if they could taste the difference between the Pur filtered water and regular tap water, and all of my kids picked the cup of Pur without hesitation. Personally, my husband and I can't tell much of a difference, but our 4 kids did, and I'm glad they are choosing the Pur water when they open the fridge now! The spout seems to be working fine, aside from a few drops here and there which is not a big deal. It is heavy to remove and replace, and the lid could have probably been designed a bit better (tends to fall off easily), but if you are careful and take your time, you should have no problems! A great product overall, and an awesome price from Walmart!

This is my favorite water purifier I've purchased so far, and I've had quite a few in the past. This one holds a lot of water and is very slim. It fits in my basic refrigerator with ease and hardly takes up any space. Any PUR brand water filter works in this product. I purchased PUR's ultimate lead replacement filters to use in this and my water has never tasted better. I highly recommend this product!

Loving this so far. The water tastes great and it was a smart buy during this pandemic since I'm home all day. The water comes out quickly. It's a little too long for my half-size NYC refrigerator, but I just have it slightly at an angle and it fits fine.

I put this dispenser inside my fridge so I can have cold water anytime. :) The filtered water tastes clean and refreshing. It holds a lot of water without taking too much space in the fridge. A million times better than buying bottled water. Buy it! You won't regret it!

Doc says to drink more water so I wanted a convenient way to have lots of clean, cold water on hand without buying bottled water. I live in an apartment so I don't have a fancy refrigerator with the water and ice through the door. Problem solved! This is one of the top rated dispensers in terms of true filtration. It does filter (fill) slowly but that's the price of clean water. Fill up the blue plastic with water, let it sit for a while and let some filter to the bottom, fill the blue up again and put it in the frig. It'll keep filtering as you use water. Makes great coffee too!

Water takes great. I used to have a Brita filter and there is no comparison - PUR is leaps and bounds above Brita. I can tell my dogs even like it better! Warning - This system is very big. I had to re-arrange the height of two shelves in my refrigerator to make it fit.

Water tastes clean and crisp. I've owned a brita family size container before and know the issues I had with that one that I wanted to avoid. With the pur 18 cup water container it's easy to carry and clean. Definitely makes the water taste a whole lot better. And it's easy even for my 1 year old to get water( with supervison of course). Good price and even visiting family is taking notice with how good and refreshing water tastes.

The 18 cup dispenser is lovely The water tastes divine The easy tap makes filling my water glass easy It sits on the middle shelf on the side of my fridge and it doesn't take up too much room and I can sit my waterglass on the bottom shelf to refill, handsfree I take it out once a day, fill up the reservoir and don't have to refill it again until the next day 24/7 FRESH cold water on tap feels like a luxury I only wish the FILTERS lasted longer (only 2 months each) and cost less. But it's still a lot cheaper and more environmentally friendly than buying bottled water! Thanks PUR!!

Does a great job taking chlorine smell out of the water. I've seen lots of negative reviews about it being slow. I can't compare to other brands but this seems perfectly fine. The large reservoir allows for plenty of water. We have a family of 5 and rarely run out of water.

This is a very attractive and convenient water filter for the refrigerator. The slim line profile fits nicely on the top shelf, leaving more than enough room for the typical items people like to keep on the top shelf. This model holds 6-8 cups more than the typical pitchers on the market and has a spout with much higher flow than other water dispensers (non-filter) that I've owned in the past. The only negative comment I have is that the filtering is slow as Moses but maybe that means it's doing a good job. Sinks have pressured water lines which push water through filter so this is to be expected. The filter has its own resevoir so you can add water at any time and let the water filter while it's in the refrigerator and not empty.
