Some cans are a little saucier than others and smellier but he really likes this flavor above all the other shreds. It doesn't seem to come in a variety pack so we have to scoop up the singles. I suspect it's all basically the same "meat" just in a different sauce but this one is his favorite. He doesn't just lick the gravy but eats the whole thing.
my cat ate it, I didn't try it. she can't talk, so I'm not exactly sure. she did leave a little bit left. but she does attack me if I don't give her one can a day I'm going to say she really likes them.
What I like is that my cats love it. The older ones like that Shreds have texture but are soft enough to easily chew. The younger ones are mad for the gravy. Sardines instead tuna or salmon makes for a nice change.
Whether it's shreds, pieces, cuts or pate, the original product of the Purina canned cat food line is Friskies. The 5 oz can is perfect for a 2 cat family, as one can will keep kitties from "Starvation', as they'd like to make you think. Kitties like most flavors, but mine go for all the salmon, shrimp and fish flavors, and yet the aroma from those is not terrible to the human olfactory system. My kitty tends to like the addition of sauces or gravies in certain flavors. Walmart is the most economical purchase of this type of canned cat food I have found. The food comes in an easy to open tabbed can, needing no can opener. Your kitty will hopefully go for it!
Cat ate some of it but prefered a different form of food. otherwise in a pinch or something special go for it. does recommend multiple kinds if possible.
my order came in 3 different shipments from 3 different locations, ehile I got what I ordeted, I thought it ridiculis. if the items were kept in stock I wouldn't have to order on line. my bowling green Missouri store is too small to serve the communiy.
The price per can went up 10 cents. At that rate, I could just give my cat tuna and pay less. Stop with the inflation already. People can't afford to feed themselves and now they can't afford to feed their pets
My cat lick the liquid off of it and then kind of ignore the rest. So not enough gravy. And I don't like spending a dollar on a can of food and not have my cats eat it.
The product was expected to be good - we have purchased it in the store or had it delivered by the personal delivery service offered. When they send a live person and we tip that person delivery is always smooth. However, they were out of the product and offered to ship it. We were desperate so we agreed. BIG MISTAKE! Walmart shipped this item. The delivery service failed to follow delivery instructions posted on the website and posted on a very clear sign on our gate. The delivery company left the box OUTSIDE of our gate and the package was stolen. Walmart advised that we have no recourse: no refund, no replacement. DO NOT HAVE WALMART SHIP YOU PRODUCTS - THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR CARRIERS!
I feed 3 cats, not one would touch the Friskes Shreds, but they eat the cuts. So, I hated to say I don't like the others because someone's cats make like them
