Took away knee pain after 6 months of use
I have used glucosamine sulfate since 1993 on an "as needed" basis. I find the Puritan's Pride product to be effective in physical results and at a very competitive price.
I've been taking this product for about a couple of years now and I definitely feel better than before I started the regimen. It took a couple of weeks before I noticed a difference. I like that it is in powdered form in a capsule. I believe that it is more absorbable that way.
I like these capsules much better than the caplets. They're a lot easier to swallow than the large caplets. I've been taking glucosamine sulfate for years to help with joint issues...these seem to work better than any others. I was lucky to get them on sale at Walmart online.
My husband and I have been taking this for 25 years and will continue to take them for the rest of our lives.
I ordered Glucosamine Sulfate 1000 mg-240 Capsules ----- Received Glucosamine HC1 Would have preferred to receive what I ordered. Made decision to keep the one received instead of putting up a fuss. Trust this would not happen if there are other orders.
Works for me - good price
I really like the product itself which is why I bought it but I received the wrong item twice! I was given Glucosamine HCL instead of Glucosamine Sulfate. Spent so much effort and time trying to get my order but unfortunately never got the correct product. I will be returning the incorrect products given.
Saw earlier (a year ago in 2023) reviews of the same problem, but thought it's just one-time mistake or supply problem. It happens to me again as the seller substituted the order with Glucosamine HCL 680mg without asking me first to either cancel or accept. From the info on the web, Glucosamine HCL maybe the same, but that's not what my partner and I want. The bigger problem is that the dosage is different ! What if some buyers do not notice that. The concerns are not just the unnecessary trouble to go through to return something, but the business ethics of the seller. Stay away from it !
The seller substituted another product (Glucosamine HCL) without my approval. The seller claims this product is the same as Glucosamine HCL. This is not true, per my physician and per the Mayo Clinic web-site.
