Purple Pitcher Plant (Sarracenia Purpurea), Living

Plant was really healthy, shipped in pot extremely securely. Very happy with this purchase.

Was very surprised at how healthy and beautiful this rare plant is! Had four pitchers and green long leaves. It’s been growing beautifully !! partially kept under a grow light and watered with distilled water.

Just got this a week ago totally intact. It was packed very carefully and even the fragile pitchers were all fine. Very healthy and mature, had 4 pitchers (and a new one is already on its way) and looks like a flower stem was snipped off earlier this season. Highly recommend for demonstrations or just for aesthetics.

Plants were dead upon arrival. Potted and fed them immediately but they were unsalvagable.

It arrived much smaller than I expected.

SO MISREPRESENTED. DO NOT BUY. THEY DO NOT ARRIVE AS PICTURED. I was So Excited to find these pitcher plants and decided to treat myself for a 65th Birthday. It reads that the Dimensions (L x W x H) are 4.50 x 4.50 x 12.00 Inches - Please be aware that is the package size, not the Plant. This should have been disclosed AND It Was not. The True size of the plant actually arrived in a 2" pot and about 1" high. Half of the tiny leaves were dead. (In addition to the plant charge, I was charged $25 to ship, plus tax for a package less than 1/2 pound) Look elsewhere, perhaps in person. Thought you should know.

sadly it came over watered and pretty much dead in hoping the roots are not root rotten so i can save him. very disappointed that i spent so much on it to come in that connection
