I wanted to replace my fading pyrex measuring cups (they don't go in the dishwasher by the way, it fades the measurements). Cheaper than amazon seller wanted and Walmart gave me free shipping. Sold! I'm happy!
I had to order these because all that was offered in the stores were plastic. These are glass, which makes them more versatile.
Don't know what to say? I like them.

WORKS GREAT THE LONG HANDLE IS NICE EASY TO CLASP
My normal measuring cups only have standard measuring capacities. These have both now I know what a metric measurement in a recipe would be.
These are replacements of my faded 20 years old 2-cup measuring cup. It held for a long time since I hand washed most of the time. Since my kids started put it in the mighty dishwasher every time, the lines did not survive. In order to avoid that, I was looking for a 2-cup one with etched measurement lines like my 1-cup. But I am glad to buy this set. The lines are clear and easy to read and quality seems good, too. I hope they last with my kids. I am definitely hand-wash these to protect lines.
The one-cup sized measuring cup was more round than I expected. It measures one cup accurately, but I was accustomed to a taller thinner model, and for a replacement match.

What a bummer. Pyrex has long been the gold standard in measuring cups. Much more expensive than Anchor Hocking, but my old Anchor Hocking cups did not pour without dribbling and the print on the sides has disappeared. I decided to treat myself to the best for the upcoming baking season. Package arrived in perfect shape, but the two cup had a vertical crack down the middle of the handle and a chunk of glass out of the handle as well. Can only imagine it happened during manufacture-and should have been caught before the cup was packaged up.
