Pyrex 3 cups Clear Food Storage Container 1 pk

I was worried "6 piece" would mean 3 containers & 3 lids. I was happy when it arrived with 6 containers & 6 lids. A great deal considering the cost when buying these individually. These are ideal containers for me to store individual servings of leftovers!

As a widow, I don't cook large meals anymore. When I do make a home cooked meal, I don't reduce it for one person. I bake large casseroles or Crock Pot dishes, cool them down and bring out my 3-cup Pyrex dishes. It's great to come home and pop a home cooked meal in the microwave! I can't afford to throw out food and these dishes are the perfect solution to freezing leftovers that I might otherwise grow tired of and trash. The price for 6 three-cup dishes was unbeatable and I just ordered them on line and picked them up at my local Walmart, saving me postage as well! Great deal!

I ordered these to replace the old ones I have had for years because the old lids started to crack. I love to use these dishes for my lunches because they are made of glass and are safe to use in the microwave for reheating food.

I needed these for when I make a week's worth of stew on Sunday evening, then eat it during the week (lazy bachelor cooking method). I was using plastic ones but they just didn't last very well. These will last forever if you don't break them (like any glass product) and the lids are good quality plastic. They stack nicely on top of each other in the cupboard.

I wanted glass dishes for my meal prep and have trusted the Pyrex brand for years. I was amazed to find a set of 6 perfectly sized glass dishes with lids for this price!! These can store a standard size portion of protein, starch and veggie conveniently. They are not too heavy; I usually carry 3-5 meals plus fruits and yogurt for mini meals in between and I am a petite girl. Would highly recommend! Only drawback is that you should be careful with tilting these as the lids do not provide a leak proof seal. Since this size and shape is perfect for my lunch carrier it isn't much of an issue for me.

You end up paying around $4 for each container + lid, which is a good deal for a glass product. However, don't you dare to pack soups or watery stews in there, they will surely leak through the lid. I don't think it would have been much more expensive to include a minimally decent lid.

This glass does not seem to be the same quality as other pyrex storage containers but otherwise it is very useful. It smudges easily when washed making it not appear clean. My other Pyrex dishes shine when washed and dried.

Great price, but the lids fit poorly. It's very disappointing considering how much I love the same Pyrex I bought a few years ago. They will absolutely leak if tipped, and they don't keep odor in at all, it's like the food is loosely covered. Will be returning them (sadly).

I have multiple Pyrex sets. This set is very poor quality. All covers are loose. I contacted customer service and they replaced the set but the covers were loose again. I even went and bought a different set but all 3 cup rectangular containers come with loose covers. I took them all back.

Description says set of 6, received set of 1. Pricing seemed too good to be true, lesson learned.
