Pyrex 4-cup Glass Food Storage Container with Blue Lid

Before I ordered, I thought it was two 4-cup glass containers with two plastic covers because the price for this item can only get me 2 containers in-store. When I went to pick up the order, I saw the package box was shipped directly from Pyrex to Walmart, and what I got was 4 bowls & 4 covers, and seemed like they were at better quality than those on the shelf or in-store. I'm using them now, and these glass containers are really easy to clean. Just don't put the cover in microwave or near too much heat, as plastic will become hard after heated.

I bought this to replace my plastic ware to prevent BPA transfer during heating. I would have loved the 3 cup size, but it wasn't available. I first ordered the 2 cup size but they were too small. This is strong and thick and travels well. Lid fits very securely.

These food containers are the perfect size. Walmart always comes through with the best prices. Easy to clean and seal great. These are a little heavy.

Good glass food containers. They handle the boiling temperature well. But the lids can't be deformed if they stay in boiling water more than 2 seconds.

I have been buying Pyrex storage containers of various sizes for several years. The bowls are glass and the lids are BPA free, making these bowls the perfect SAFE container for your food. Can be used in the Micro and the freezer. I freeze soups and leftovers in the Pyrex container and then heat it up in the Microwave. I just take a bowl of soup out of the freezer and pop it into the Micro, hot soup in one step, no pots or pans to clean up. They are attractive enough to use as serving pieces.

I washed the bowls by hand in sink and one of them chipped in 3 places. Noticed these are completely clear glass. The ones I have in my cabinet have a slight green tint around the rim if you look at it a certain way. I never had a problem with the greenish rim ones. No wonder they are so cheap, get what I paied for. Returning all 8 that I bought. Didn't wash the other four.

This item says it comes in a set of 4 Pyrex containers. I had a feeling it was too good to be true and it was. It showed up with only one container. BE AWARE - ONLY ONE CONTAINER INCLUDED.

I was so happy to snatch this set up when they were on sale. they are the only containers I use to store things. I only use them in the fridge and I do put them in the dishwasher. the lids are a bit on the wimpy side compared to the ones I have from other sets. But they do seal well and keeps things fresh. They clean easily and are great.
