Pyrex 6 Cup Simply Store Rectangular Dish

Except for the three day delay in delivering my package ......this Pyrex dish finally arrived....safe and sound. It is a nice sized storage dish, not just for food...can be used to store misc. items.....crayons, pens, rubber bands, paper clips, make-up items, etc.....and it stores much better as a rectangular dish as opposed to a round dish whether in my fridge or a drawer.....might go back and order one more.

I like Pyrex bowls but this particular one is the heaviest I ever purchased. it cooks well but its to heavy and trying to clean it will become a task due to its weight

This is a great Pyrex for use in the fridge, microwave, or oven. It's solidly made and won't explode when you take it out of the over like some cheap imitations do. Highly recommended!

I have owned a couple sets of the three different size (11 cup, 6 cup and 3 cup rectangular storage containers) and they are great for storage, freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher. I wanted more for meal prep and freezer storage and got a fantastic deal buying in bulk on Jet. The plastic lids don't last forever, but replacements are available. Hand wash the lids for longer life and allow a little time before removing after they have been in the freezer and they should last a very long time. A couple of my lids have lasted a decade or more and I usually put them in the dishwasher. High heat in the dishwasher can warp them slightly.

Just the right size! Cooking for two is challenging and storage of the leftovers is a concern. I purchased two of these Pyrex containers, perfect size for a casserole for two! Plus great storage for leftovers! The lid fits nice and snug, I would definitely recommend this product and would glad purchase it again!! Clean up was a breeze.

I love these, really dislike plastic. These are so multi purpose! I've baked in them, use them for food storage...even a container for nut picks! (Smaller size, obviously!) The glass doesn't leach flavor of metal or plastic into the food. The lids sre plastic, but that's great! Seal very tightly. I have to keep buying them, my sons tend to take them home! Stinkers!

I ordered these to store my leftover pizza slices, and they're absolutely perfect for that. I was using plastic storage containers, but I'm trying to move away from plastic in my kitchen as much as possible. Pyrex brand is known for its quality products, and this lives up to that.

Best size (6 c) for Chinese takeouts. I bought six. Take them in a tub into a Chinese restaurant in late afternoons (before busy dinner rush). Proprietor accommodated. No single use wastes. (Had done that over 50 yr with other Pyrex glass containers. 6 c is a good size for entries.) Don't microwave the lids. Instead I use a silicone bake ware with tiny holes punched in.

I love pyrex all my life. It is very durable and reliable. I can use it for leftover food, can be stored in a fridge or freezer, if I want to warm up, just take off the lid and put it in the microwave or oven. So simple and make life easier. The lid is not airtight though, so I couldn't use it for liquid food for lunch box. Overall, happy with purchases, will buy some more sizes .
