Pyrex® Deep 8" Square Glass Baking Dish with Sage Green Lid

I love my new Pyrex 8x8 Deep Dish with Lid! First of all, I was drawn to the color of the lid. It is a pretty sage, almost mint color, that is the perfect neutral which matches my kitchen perfectly. The lid easily snaps on and off, and stays in place...so I know my food will not be going anywhere. An added bonus is that it is 25% deeper, which means it can hold more. When I bake a casserole or dessert, I can load extra toppings on top without smooshing the food. This keeps that extra "wow" factor and I do not have to worry about my food getting ruined. This dish is easy to clean and food comes off without leaving any marks. I love how it is oven and microwave safe, so I have no excuse about not using it. It's a great item to add to my collection of baking dishes!

I just love my Pyrex deep dish 8 x 8 baking dish! This 2.6 qt baking dish the perfect size for brownies and is also high enough to make a small serving of things like lasagna or chicken pot pie. I like that it comes with a stylish BPA safe sage colored snap on plastic lid so that I can just snap it on after the meal cools and pop it in the fridge or even the put freezer and later heat it up again in the same dish. You just need to let it cool to room temp before putting in the freezer and vice versa, let food in the Pyrex dish thaw before putting in preheated oven. The entire dish is clear so you can see if whatever you are baking is done enough or getting too done. The lid is only for after baking and cannot be used in the oven. If I am baking a large portion for an event, I will use this smaller dish for my family so we can have our own portion that night. The dish is also microwave and the dishwasher safe. All & all, it is the perfect size and everything bakes well in this dish. I am so happy to add this dish to my Pyrex bakeware collection! I gave it 5 stars because it is so sturdy and bakes everything so well. You really can't go wrong with Pyrex!!

This is a great dish! I love Pyrex products. The first thing that caught my eye about this dish is how deep it is. I'm always running out of room, especially with layered dishes like lasagna. None of my bake pans are high enough to do much stacking. But this is definitely deep enough to solve that problem. Last night the menu called for sweet potato casserole. So I fixed that in it first and it came out just perfect. Tonight it was lasagna and that came out amazing as well. It was so nice with this deeper dish, I could just go crazy with how much I wanted to layer into the lasagna. It was the best lasagna ever. Next time I go to the store I'll get stuff for taco casserole and go wild layering that one too. I love baking and my bake ware of choice is glass. It just cooks much nicer and more even. This pan didn't disappoint me, it bakes and browns everything nice and even, and all the way through just the way I like it. It also comes with a rubber snap on lid so you can conveniently cover your food and set the dish in the refrigerator or freezer. We had left overs so I took advantage of the snap on lid to store the left overs in the refrigerator. The lid is microwave safe and freezer safe. Just don't put the lid in the oven. Both the dish and the lid are dishwasher safe with the lid on the top shelf. And as with most glass bake ware you should always preheat the oven before you put the dish in. The pan is 8 by 8 inches. And is 2.7 inches deep. It holds 2.6 quarts.

Pyrex Deep Dish 8x8 Glass Bake Set with Sage Lid. Great quality dish. Good for many things go from refrigerator to oven. Microwave as well. Deep dish is perfect for casseroles lasagna for two with lunch the next day. We use it also to store big things like when we fry chicken and have leftovers. I found the lid did not fit as tight as I had hoped maybe as it gets used it may shrink up a little bit. The handles on the sides of the baking dish are perfect grip for me. I like the small size there. There are two of us at home a lot more these days now the kids are growing up and going off to do Sports and hang out with friends. Easy to prep a small casserole for a quick meal. Then go from the fridge to over to fridge with the meal. Trusted brand - I have many Pyrex baking wear and glass storage containers.

Another great addition to my kitchen! I grew up with these in the kitchen so it's only right to have a few sizes around my kitchen. Its the perfect depth for mac & cheese or even cake or casserole. Love this dish and the icing on the top is the lid. It makes for easy putting away for either in the fridge or on the counter.

It's deep enough to control spills and gives ample room for making your favorite dishes. The storage lid allows for your food to go from the oven, to the table, straight to the fridge. Love this baking dish. Just perfect for a small casserole or batch of brownies! I love that the lid comes with it so I can just put that on if there are any leftovers or I'm taking it with me to a covered dish.

I was impressed with how deep this 8 x 8 x 2.7 inch baking dish is. I made cheesy garlic potatoes in it using the microwave. This 2.6 quart baking dish, holds about six servings in this size container, or four hefty servings. The lid is a pastel sea green. You could also describe it as pale honeydew. The directions say the lid is BPA free and for microwave and storage use only. It has three easy to open lips that overlap the glass baking dish. You can open it without touching the glass dish. The lid looks like it caves in, but there is a square dome on the underside center section. I'm going to use this to make peach cobbler, lasagna, gratin potatoes, and cake. It's a perfect size for a light refrigerated dessert. My only disappointment was that the directions were not precise regarding the lid, and I didn't know whether it could handle being attached to the hot Pyrex dish for immediate transport. I also don't know whether it can handle the freezer. The directions were not clear on that. The glass pan can stand up to the dishwasher, the microwave, the freezer and of course the refrigerator. The pan performed well in both the dishwasher and the microwave without the lid. You will still have to avoid temperature changes. Neither can be used on the stove or the broiler, but the Pyrex glass pan can be used in the oven.

The Pyrex Deep Dish 8x 8 Glass Bake Set with Sage Lid is great, I wish it came in other colors to match my red set. I tested by storing baked items - cookies and muffins. It worked as expected. The lid feels so dainty; however, it is pretty good once sealed. Really enjoying the Pyrex dish; however, it is not as heavy as my other dishes and lid combination. Pyrex is the most trusted of all storage containers I have purchased over the years. I look forward to many more, although I wonder if there is an opportunity to buy replacement parts such as lids or the dish themselves. They items are so well crafted and dependable; however, once of my covers broke, when I received the Pyrex Deep Dish 8x 8 Glass Bake Set with Sage Lid it got me to thinking. I usually wonder how people store their food, heat up and even cook items, especially when Pyrex provided so many options over the years. I never understood using plastic containers that are not BPA Free and definitely not made for the type of use Pyrex would offer. Glad I had the opportunity to test the Pyrex Deep Dish 8x 8 Glass Bake Set with Sage Lid. Definitely a high recommendation.

I would NOT recommend purchasing from you. The glass item was put in a box with no wrapping so it banged around for days and was in a million pieces when it arrived. Then I opened the box and found the shards which got on my floor and shoes. Then I had to box up and take to UPS. Ridiculous packing on your part.
