My office needed new affordable envelopes and these worked out like a charm.

I was happy the envelopes. I got them fast and they were what I needed and they were as described.

THE CONVIENENCE

This is a decent envelope for the price. We use these to mail our accounts payable checks. The only issue that I have is that you can see part of the written payment amount showing in the top of the lower window. We are a nonprofit so we decided that we could live with that for the good price. I can fit a check and 4 - 5 8/5 x 11 pieces of paper in this envelope. I would definitely consider buying these envelopes again.

The envelopes seal well, but the inner flaps on each side make it harder to insert checks. I stuff about 50 payroll checks a week. The self-seal saves time in sealing, but it takes more time to insert the checks than in standard envelopes. I may choose another self-seal envelope the next time that I place an order.

I was under the impression they were peel and close envelopes but they have a gummy substance in the back that does not adhere very well. You have to use take to seal completely. Waste of money and extra time and money to do what other envelopes do. I would not recommend or buy again!
