They helped my daughter a lot. It helped up her lip pretty fast.
Works better than anything else I've tried. It's not perfect but definitely helpful
I like that this product protects the fever blister/cold sore from cracking and bleeding
It's really helped speed up the healing process and hide the blister
Great for acne
Worked great keeping my cold sore covered while I was waiting for it to heal! It did not hurt at all taking it off and it helped me feel less self-conscious about it.
Cold sore patches are a great technology for healing and preventing the spread of cold sores. These patches are a more affordable option to the mederma brand, though they aren't as invisible to the eye as the mederma brand and are slightly visible when close up, they are still a good option for healing. I prefer mederma for its discreet style and thin flexible material; however, mederma is quite a bit more costly and these patches havethe added benefit of lysine in addition to hydrocolloid protection so there is that to consider. Either way patches are the way to go for healing cold sores, i will never go back to just creams alone.
I bought Quantum and Mederma, and Mederma is definitely the better product. Quantum's product is harder to open, hard to separate on perforations, hard to peel from backing, and harder to apply smoothly, even after watching the YouTube video referenced in the instruction insert (who knew you would need Internet access to use a product like this?). The video shows how to hide the bandage with makeup, which you definitely want to do because these are not really clear like Mederma. Otherwise, this product does adhere well, protect well, and help with healing.
I had an allergic reaction to something i ate which triggered a huge fever blister from the stress. I bought these thinking they would help me not look terrible at work but instead they didn't stick at all and it looked worse because the bandage kept coming up off my lip. I applied 3 within 2 hours of work. I bought 3 boxes thinking these would come in handy in the future so I'm on the fence between having to pay shipping to return them or just tossing them all together. HUGE waste of money & literally did not help at all.
Do not waste your money! The patch does not stay on at all. It was hanging off my lip. Looked worse than the cold sore. Also the patch is highly visible. There is no invisible about this patch.
