I had to waxed buildup on my hardwood floors so I google to see what was recommended so I found this since, this is the wax finish that I put on it. It works great, it takes a little scrubbing but it got it all up! Would totally recommend it!
Had to clean dirty grout and tile from a rental home we owned. It had gotten really dirty during the reno. This product worked wonders! Would highly recommend. Scrubbing was still required. However, it was the only product that did the job no matter how much scrubbing was done. Have used it on wood floors to clean them. Works like a charm. Follow directions though. The product is strong.
I am removing years of built up wax on my hardwood floors from Future and Quick Shine. This product is getting the wax off but it is also taking a great deal of scraping and rescraping but as slow as it is going, it is working. I would highly recommend this product to those who would like to remove wax build up but I highly recommend they use this product at least once or twice a year to prevent scraping.
Works well with companion products from the same company
Works great in getting wax off.
Quick shine deep cleaner worked as promised removed all old wax left floor looking like new. Easy to to use, just follow simple instructions. Would recommend .
I have read many reviews about this product and the reviews are almost dead even with one another. You either hate it or you don't. I have shiny laminate flooring and Quick Shine wax makes it look like glass. I sold my house recently and the owner was extremely impressed with the floors. I ordered Quick Shine wax remover and poured 1 cup into a gallon of boiling hot water. I utilized the biggest pot in my kitchen to boil the water. I applied the solution with an O-Cedar spin mop and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. You don't want to soak the floor but you don't want the mop to be dry either. After 5 minutes I went back and begin to wipe the floor and the wax came off with no problems. Were there some areas that I had to mop again and scrub a little harder? Yes, but it wasn't as hard as some customers have made it out to be. It also depends on the type of floors you have. There are some floors that Quick Shine wax shouldn't be used on at all. This wax remover will remove the old wax if you utilize it as directed. The only gripe I have is one bottom wasn't enough for my home. All of my floors are wood and my home was 2000 sqft. Two bottles got the job done and I am impressed with the results. The new owner was impressed too. This stuff is awesome for the price if you use it as directed.
I had layers of wax/buildup on my hardwood floors. This is the only product that worked to really loosen it up. I still had to scrape most of it off by hand with a plastic wallpaper scraper. It was a tedious job because I had a lot of surface area to cover, but the Quick Shine product really works.. Then I used a good steam mop and the floor looks almost like new. Such an improvement.
I have not been able to even receive the product. I placed an initial order, and then a couple days later received emails from WalMart saying the item and shipped, and also arrived. The tracking number provided said the item was delivered the day before the email, but I received nothing. WalMart issued a refund in the form of a balance so I could make a replacement order, which I did. Same thing happened on the replacement order. I'm now getting the runaround trying to get a refund, since I'm not going to order again. Customer service 3 times over the last few weeks has now said I'll receive a refund in a maximum of 10 business days, but I get nothing but crickets each cycle. Am to the point of simply trying to dispute the original order with my credit card. Ultimately feel like I've simply been scammed. WalMart has taken my money and time, and I have no item. Not buying from them ever again if this is how they do stuff.
This item is too strong for the apartment or even home use. It is geared (by Directions on bottle) for industrial/hospital usage. It must be well diluted and ventilated. The Directions are written too small for many people to read. I recommend CAUTION for the home consumer!
