I over all like this toothbrush. It really does help clean my teeth better than other toothbrushes I've had. It is a bit hard to turn on but I like that it has a built in timer and shuts itself off when it's time to stop brushing. I was however disappointed that my holder wasn't sticky enough to hang up on my bathroom wall above the sink, but I did make the stand and it works great!
We've been battling our almost 7y/o to brush his teeth regularly since he started brushing. We tried every trick in the book, from character-themed brushes to fun brushing songs to rewards for brushing. Turns out Quip was the answer. Suddenly he brushes without being asked, he goes for the full two minutes, and I feel like he is actually reaching every tooth. It's a miracle!
Haven't had any cavities since using quip for the past 3 years, and I'm super prone to cavities. The base lasts for about 2 years before the alignment gets messed up and the on/off button stops working regardless of battery life. If using the holder, pro tip to completely dry the base and neck before putting it in or else it starts to smell
Perfect portable toothbrush. Love the nubbies on the back of the brush head. Having the timer keeps me accountable. And the cover keeps my brush clean and ready to go when I travel.
This new toothbrush has an unpleasant shorter gap between the quarters so if I'm not careful I don't know until the tree stops then the end. I used to use the gaps every 30 seconds as que to move to another area of teeth.
This product is good for the price, however it is not that usable to people who are easily confused the directions are confusing. I went to replace the batter and spent 45 mins trying to get it open. The entrance is hard to get to because it wasn't direct on the instructions. However this product is good for a quick trip and easy to transport without getting dirty.
I was enthused to see my old Quip battery powered toothbrush elsewhere than from their website. See, I had this one, the charcoal black color Quip brush but it recently went kind of haywire and since I had it for a seriously long time, I thought it was time for a replacement. When I went to shop however, my color was no longer on the website, and I was fond of it, so I searched elsewhere and found it here at Walmart for an even better price than from the Quip website. And it comes with everything that is needed to operate it including a travel case with it that I believe you can use to stick onto the mirror. I have no use for the travel case because my brush is stored securely, but I love the option. Anyway, I love that I found it here and would consider buying another backup very soon.
I don't like that the tooth brush is just flat bristles. It doesn't seem to clean as well as a good non-electric because it can't reach between teeth well.
Incredibly difficult to turn on/off. Also brush will often initially start and then stop and have to be started again. I'm dreading having to take apart to replace the battery; seems impossible to get apart. I like the way the brush feels when being used and the 2 minute timer. But the on/off is terrible
I have had for probably 8 years. Loved them. My old one kept shutting off, changed batteries worked somewhat better. Bought a new one and it is doing the same thing. Very frustrating.
