Thought this wiper would be perfect after testing day one. It worked perfectly. It's now a month later and this wiper is worse than my old ones. It is so wobbly and jerky that the window gets smeared so badly because the wiper bounces off the windshield. Avoid at all costs. Sticking with the OEM.
These are very nice wiper blades. They have a Rain X about them in use as the rain beads up in between wiper arm swings. On top of that, the majority of the wiper arm stays on the windshield during use, which is awesome. These are top notch and i'd recommend them to anyone.
I got the Rain-X Silicone Endura Wiper Blades for my 2015 Malibu. Rain-X has long been a trusted name in water technology. I was quite interested in trying these innovative wiper blades for myself. So far all I have experienced is very heavy rain since installing them on my car. They work amazingly well. The silicone squeegee effect if very easy to see happening in a heavy downpour. The package also says this new precision engineered silicone squeegee in each wiper blade has climate defense technology. This helps repel not only rain but also snow and sleet in addition to protecting against UV rays and ozone. It acts as a safeguard against windshield wiper fluid, oil, salt spray, road grime and other elements encountered while driving. These blades lasted two times longer when tested against other beam blade squeegees. They are built for tough climates. They will fit most wiper blade arms and come in many sizes. Be sure to check which length your car needs. My Malibu required one 24 and then a 19 on the passenger side. I had no idea cars take different sizes on each side. These are really good wiper blades and I do recommend them to anyone needing to replace the old ones on your vehicle.
Just like my review title, this wiper blade is simply the best. I have used multiple different types of wipers throughout the years and there is nothing that compares to it. There are many things I love about this wiper; the installation, how easy the instructions were to follow, the quality of work it does cleaning and clearing my window and quality of the product itself. First is the installation. When opening the package, the hook system is already installed, which is what my wiper is. All I had to do is unhook the old and hook the new. It took me about 10 minutes to install both of the blades that I got. Second, the instructions were step by step with pictures so it was easy to follow. The quality of how this wiper works is amazing. It does not leave streaks and gives crystal clear visibility when driving. The wiper itself is crafted nicely. It is very solid which leaves out all the concerns for me. One word of advice, which I had to learn the hard way. There is a yellow sleeve that is on the wiper, which I have included in the picture, take that off before use. I didn't pay attention to that part which almost caused me to give a bad review because it was doing a horrible job. Then I realized I didn't take that off and like magic, it worked perfectly. Would give it more than a 5 if I could.
I received these Rain-X Silicone Endura Premium Wiper Blades to try out and I am so glad I did. In my opinion they are the best blades I have had in a long time. I always pay for the more expensive types because they work better, but these are even better than those. To start off with, be sure you look your blades up by car make and model when you go to get them, because they take 2 different sizes of wiper blades. And… don't mix them up when putting them on the car. They come with instructions. When I looked at the instructions I was panicked at first. It looked like there were so many different types of adapters. But when I got into doing it, it was pretty easy. You just click the old blade off and click on the new blade. The wiper blades come with additional connectors to use with large or small pin type arms. Rain-X Silicone Endura Premium wiper blades are made of silicone with a graphite coating to be durable longer lasting and resistant to the weather. The benefit of silicone wipers blades is they are made without petroleum, (unlike the natural rubber wiper blades). This makes them environmentally friendly and biodegradable. Silicone squeegee wipers are softer than natural rubber blades and leave a water repellent coating on your windshield that makes rain bead off the glass. This helps keep washer fluid, oil, salt spray, and road grime off of your glass so you can see better when driving. The Rain-X silicone Squeegee lasts 2X longer than regular blades, so you don't have to replace them as often. Whether you live in freezing Alaska or rainy Florida these blades are best for a wide range of temperatures and weather. The arm on this blade also conforms to my windshield and glides quietly across the windshield. There was also no sticking or jumping when my window was dry or barely damp. I would highly recommend these wiper blades for any vehicle.
Rain-x silicone endura 22” Chevy Tahoe. Trying these expensive silicone wipers as I'm tired of replacing the rubber ones. Last brand was valeo and while they are good for the price they don't last. Seems like all manufacturers are making wipers “thinner” and cheaper. Don't know if it's rubber trees issues or just greed. But long ago a real wiper was thick and these today are thinner and at their weakest point which is the bending structure. Also the quality of rubber has fallen. Hopefully these silicon last longer and with clean glass and rain-x on glass hopefully i can extend life.
Rain-X has been a big name for a while now and I have used their products in the past. In fact I have a pair of these wiper blades on my other car, and they perform flawlessly. I got this pair for an older car I have, and I had some difficulty installing them. They come with several adapters and are designed to work with most cars and trucks. On this car, (2005 Ford 500) no adapter was required and they should have just popped right on. However, there is a little 90 degree extension on the wiper arm that prevented these from fitting properly; I was unable to use the included snap lock to secure them because that little extension was in the way. I got them on there but they are probably not as secure as I would like. So far they have performed well but I've only used the wipers once since installing them. Like I mentioned, I do have another pair of these same blades on my newer Lincoln and had no problem installing them. They work really well and have been on that car for almost a year and are still like new. So yes I do recommend these performance wise, but depending on your vehicle you could possibly have install issues. They probably work best with later model cars.
There is supposed to be a yellow strip over the edge of the blade you have to remove, it's missing which means to me someone else opened it before me and not excepted to get a used or all ready opened product!!!!!! In photos there is one 26” %26 it has the yellow strip as the one next to it a 22” blade does not!!
These wipers do not keep windshield clear leaving uncleared sections in the line of sight. They do OK for light rain after a couple swipes. In snow and salt they leave wide streaks no matter the amount of sweeps. The adapter to attach to the wiper arm fairly easily and pop off easily which can become a problem in heavy snow while clearing snow off the windshield with a brush. But if you retain all the parts it can be easily be reassembled. Still in search of a good winter wiper.
I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program. These wipers were easy to put on but after a week of use. It rained everyday. The rubber part of the wiper started to come off. I think there was defect in this product. When they worked properly that worked great.
