Words and simple to use

Gail February 9, 2026

Had mice in the back seat of my car and put some of these in a small dish. They loved them and also did not come back again-so I think it worked to get rid of them. I also used them in the furnace around the bottom as they got in there too. Again, they ate some of them and did not return again.

Rat X worked with a few days. I was able to use 1 lb over a 3 day period. It accomplished what it says it would do. Will buy again since I have a problem with the Norway rats. I used another brand Victor, all last year and it barely worked and did not get rid of not one rat.. They multiplied badly over an 8 month period. I was buying 2 or 3 lbs a week for months. Then I read that the Norway rats are resistant to the ingredient warfarin in the Victor? Brand. They guarantee that their product works or your money back. I should see if they really mean what they say. Thank you Rat X for a product that does what it says. Works on all rats, is all natural and won't harm other pets only these rats. I will buy again and recommend it. Thank you 😊

Had to add some flavor for picky rats!

EllieWho April 25, 2026

RatX Rodent Control Pellets are clean and easy to use. The rats would not eat them unless I mixed them with a touch of beef tallow or some kind of fat, or mixed in a little peanut butter. Maybe we just have picky rats. It did not seem to harm the effectiveness of the pellets but is not recommended, according to the instructions on the website. Using a small amount of fats/peanut butter does not cause the pellets to swell but they do dissolve in water. Don't add anything that "opens the pores" and you should be fine. Adding a little powdered seasoning like chicken bouillon should work as well. First I put some pellets on a tray with other yummy food to get them used to eating the pellets. Then I made small packets of yummy fat- mixed pellets using sandwich bags and bread ties -(placed a generous portion in a sandwich bag corner then tied with a bread tie and trimmed the excess-making fat triangle treats). Then threw several "treat bags" underneath the house, along with a well placed bucket of water-so the rats did not need to chew into water pipes for a drink of water.... and then sealed the crawlspace closed. It seemed to work and I never smelled any dead rat fumes wafting into the house. This was in December so that may have helped . There was no more rat activity after a few days. The pellets seem a bit pricey but people will stretch their dollars to get rid of rodents! I like that these pellets are safe to handle and will not harm any of your non-rodent pets or wildlife. I did wear gloves when handling the pellets to fill the bags but that was to keep my scent off of them. The pellets are made of non-poisonous ingredients and degrade naturally in soil. They will swell and dissolve if they get wet so do not drop them near wet ground. I read in the YouTube comments that each rat needs to eat around 15 pellets before it is effective-so the pellets need to taste yummy enough for a gorge session. Some people had success without treating the pellets for taste but we did not. Beef tallow, thick Ranch dressing, peanut butter or a dusting of chicken bouillon all worked well for us. Best of luck and success on your ratting adventures.

Reduces rat activity, may not kill.

Shane June 17, 2025

pellets definitely reduced the rat activity but it ultimately didn't kill. a glue trap got it ultimately. maybe it could have killed it if i gave it a week. definitely do not use outside. must be within a structure to keep dry. whether it be barn or home. smell was not horrible.

I saw this on Mouse trap Mondays and Shawn Woods said that it works so I bought it. I like that it won't harm dogs, cats, snakes, birds but only kills rodents. I will probably buy this again but Shawn Woods still does mouse trap videos weekly although he says this works.

It’s really hard to properly review this, because of the nature of the product. I can say that the product did entice my horrible little house guests and I am hopeful that they are soon dispatched. However, my biggest issue with poisons is that the time and place of death is not controllable. All of my furry, little food thieves may be dead in their nest or they may have crawled outside, to die. Alternately, I may, one day, find a decaying carcass, behind my washing machine or in a cabinet. It’s impossible for me to know exactly where they are going to die and it could be anywhere. I may never know. With a snap trap and my trusty 2x4, I am absolutely certain that they will not steal anymore food from my pantry. A crushed rat or flat rat(in the event the trap doesn’t kill them) will NOT be stealing anything else from me. I wish I could say for sure that this poison did the job but I cannot.

As much as I REALLY WANTED this to work, it just didn't. I let my rat problem get too big and broke down and got the traditional rat poison which I REALLY HATE but which works. I guess the theory is good, but in practice it doesn't do so well. I actually like little rodents of all kinds but rats in large numbers are a VERY BAD idea!!! So sorry. Bought all Tom Cat rat poison and poison "feeder" container. No more rats.

RatX , NOT EFFECTIVE

BatteryCharger November 9, 2025

Scattered pellets around areas noted rodent feces. Days have gone by, the pellets have gone uneaten. Rodent activity still remains. I was trying not to have to use bait traps, as it's gross to find a rodent smashed in a trap! I can hear rodent activity in my walls %26 under my sink.

COMPLETELY USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

sweediesgma December 13, 2025

THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL...THE RODENTS MUST LOVE IT MIXED WITH PEANUT BUTTER...BUT IT DID NOTHING TO DECREASE THE NUMBER OF RATS OR DETER THEM AT ALL...IN FACT I AM SURE THAT THEY LOVE IT AND THRIVE ON IT...I WOULD HAVE ACHIEVED THE SAME RESULT IF I HAD JUST PUT OUT RODENT FOOD! DON'T EVEN BOTHER A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY, UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO TREAT THEM TO DINNER!
