This line works very well on my baitcaster and spinning reels. The line I choose was the 10 pound test. I tied the line to mono leader with out any issues. In the last 4 days I've caught at least 30 bass and 5 pike in Ontario. This line is a great value. This line in now my braid of choice
it hasn't knotted yet and I've been using it for a month. I replaced the exact same poundage because the Spider wire was knotting up almost every other cast

I must have gotten the bad item it spooled ok, and took it out dor the first time and it wouldn't glide off the reel and the strength was not there cuaght a medium size fish and the line broke off/ was not the pole or the reel it was the fishing line.
