Ready Nutrition Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Clean Protein Bar, 5 Count

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I had to double check the flavor after so opened it because the chocolate looks like milk chocolate, but it was boxed correctly. I can't say which chocolate it tastes like. But I do have to say that this is my favorite of three flavors if Ready Clean bars I have tried. I don't taste the sea salt in it, but I think I'd prefer it without the heavy salt flavor anyway. The bars are large and fill me up when I eat one. They taste great.

this is the best tasting protein bar I have had in a very long time. and for the price you cannot beat it. I have only tried this dark chocolate sea salt flavor but it is amazing. I only got to purchase at one time and then I haven't seen it back in stock since.

Crunchy texture and sweet enough. We actually did a blind taste test of 4 different chocolate (chip other 3) granola bars. This one was 3 of our favorites and second fav for the other one. Taste-approved by a 16 year old and picky 10 year old. We were pleasantly surprised that this one has the most protein. Was compared to a kid kind bar, simply good, junkless, and made good brands.

They are incredibly sweet, so maybe that has something to do with it. I am amazed at how much protein are in these, as well as a good dose of fiber. I will definitely be buying more of these, and would highly recommend them!

Usually dark chocolate is not my thing, but my sister had one of the dark chocolate flavors of these bars at her house and it was so good I went out and bought one of these and the dark chocolate coconut and dark chocolate blueberry to try. All were shockingly good. The blend of flavors of the oats and crispy stuff with the salt and chocolate is delicious, and these seem more filling than the usual bar.

I'm recovering from a near death experience which left me with a fractured leg. At my senior age and overall health it is taking longer than expected for the fracture to heal. After spending two months in the hospital, being put on and then taken off dialysis and being on a plethora of medications I am finally home. As unfortunate as it is, the fracture has not healed and I still can't walk. I have home health care nurse, physical and occupational therapists coming to my home once and twice a week. And thus the reason for my Ready Clean bar purchase which has led me here to offer my opinion/review. My home health nurse advised me to take calcium, vitamin C and protein supplements. She suggested a specific protein drink which made me gag. I tried a few others and even some bars but none were palatable to me. Yes, some bars taste great but it's the protein content I'm looking for. While 15 grams of protein per bar is not the best it's certainly not bad like some of the others. Another noteworthy point is that it didn't crumble and fall apart after the first bite, nor the second, third, fourth or last bite. Why is it noteworthy? Remember now, I am currently bedridden so crumbs aren't cool! :D Not to mention I'm bored out of my mind and is why this review is a freaking novel! After all said and done, I am impressed with this product. It tastes great. It's not too sweet. It's crunchy. Initially you'll want a second one but just wait a few minutes and you'll feel satisfied. THUMBS UP!

These protein bars are so tasty! Most either have artificial sweeteners or stevia (gross!!) or have an awkward chalky texture. These have the texture of a rice crispy treat and they are delicious enough for dessert! Can't find a better price than Walmart- not even in bulk

These Ready Clean protein bars are a letdown. They do not taste like dark chocolate whatsoever.! The chocolate coating that is on the bottom of the bars is not even dark in color. If I were to close my eyes, I would not know what flavor they were. This brand of protein bars, mint flavored .are OK ..I'm going to try the peanut butter which have had good reviews. Will not be buying the so-called dark chocolate bars again, nor the chocolate chip bars-neither one of those taste remotely as they are advertised.

I like the Ready Clean granola bars but this flavor is so sweet it made my throat burn. And where is the salt??? Since it's dark chocolate AND sea salt I was expecting maybe flakes of salt to counter the sweetness. Not the case. Definitely wouldn't get this flavor again.

All of the clean bars have been a miss for us. The texture is rough and crumbly. Grab a handful of stale rice crispies and chew them up and you have these bars. I have had some in the pantry and no one wants to eat any of the flavors because of the texture.
