Red Devil White Vinyl Spackling Compound Wall Filler 32 oz.

I order two quarts. The first was fine, however the second was full of odd debris. Will be returning the second quart.

We got this compound for cracks and screw holes in our vinyl siding. The compound was nicely premixed upon opening. It went on easily onto the siding with a spatula. For grooved siding like ours, It is a bit difficult to sand the excess dried, So wiping down the area around the hole while it is still wet is a good idea. It dried enough to sand in less than 2 hours as the directions said it would. It was so easy I dont know why I put off this repair for so long. Good stuff.

I've used this in the past extensively for repairing holes in my drywall at my house. Recently drilled three holes in my ceiling trying to install a TV cable, but couldn't get it installed so was left with three holes in my ceiling. Got the Red Devil Spackling, took a putty knife, pressed it into the holes, smoothed it out, let it dry, then touched it up with some old ceiling paint. Holes are gone, ceiling looks great. Got some on my ceiling trim, it is easily cleaned up with water and, when dry, can easily be sanded and painted. If you are painting your walls and/or ceilings, I would highly recommend making this your first purchase to get the surface in perfect shape before applying paint.

I've had a small hole next to a light switch plate for about 2 years that I keep meaning to fix. This vinyl sparkling was just right for the job. I pressed a bit of the compound into the hole and used a putty knife to smooth the surface. After drying, you can hardly see it (although I will paint it).

I have only used this on my stairway to my recroom. -where the handrail is, the screws had stripped out of the wall and made a fist like hole from all the times we tried to rescrew and it would come off again- so far so good.. went on as smooth as the wall and we were able to screw into it. I haven't used it on the outside yet but I do have a few cable holes I'm wanting to fill with it. I'd recommend it based on my use!

We are getting ready to do some painting around the house and we had a couple of small holes and cracks in the sheetrock, so we decided to give this product a try. It's a lot thicker than what I'm used to using but it fills the holes and cracks better. Very light sanding is required but just like all the others, if it's a big hole, you have to do a second coat. I really like this better than everything I used to use. Very happy with the final results.

I used this sparkling for crafts and I love how it worked out for me. It has a very nice smooth consistency. It dries fairly quickly depending on how thick you apply it. It also took paint color pretty well too. I added acrylic paint to tint the sparkling for better coverage. It is a nice product.

This wall compound worked well for both running seams between gypsum board with tape, and covering and repairing some nail holes and three inch diameter hole in the wall board. It was nice and smooth, and easy to spread. . I had a textured wall with a large hole that I was able to easily repair using this great stuff. I'm very happy with the results.

Red Devil Pre-Mixed Vinyl Spackling is great for patching holes and nail heads quickly and easily. This was so easy to use even though I had no idea how to spackle, it was easy and very little sanding needed. Product goes on smooth. It is easy to sand and the finished repair was practically undetectable. It dries fast and holds tight providing a permanent repair. Can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces. Cleans up with water and paintable.

This was perfect for solving the issue I had with wood paneling (walls). I hated seeing the grooves when I paint my horrible looking wood paneling. I was able to use this after a bit of prep to the wood paneling and the seams were gone after applying this product. Now my walls look like they're updated - not ancient. I painted over it with no problem. Great product that gave me great results!
