Y'all, I was raised on iced tea so weak it could've been mistaken for slightly tinted water, but Red Diamond Family Size Orange Pekoe %26 Pekoe bags came into my life like a revival preacher on a hot July Sunday. One bag in a gallon pitcher and BOOM — tea so bold and rich it stands up and introduces itself. Smooth, never bitter, with that perfect deep amber color that screams “add sugar until your dentist weeps.” I brew it strong, sweeten it sinful, throw in some lemon slices for pretense of health, and suddenly I'm transported to a porch swing in heaven. My family now fights over who gets to “test” the fresh pitcher (spoiler: it's always me). If sweet tea is the house wine of the South, Red Diamond is the top-shelf, aged-in-oak, limited-edition bottle everybody sneaks extra glasses of. Five stars isn't enough. This tea deserves its own national holiday. Buy it, brew it, love it, guard the pitcher with your life.

These used to be 100 teabags (regular sized ) for around $2 . For someone on a very limited budget, it's hard to accept the price, no matter how good they taste.

Delicious iced tea. Tip from an old-timer, older than me, add a pinch of baking soda to the brew immediately after adding the boiling water. Takes out any bitterness. I only wish the the bags had strings.

For many years now, I have been wondering if tea "makers" had changed the actual amount of tea they were putting in the family sized tea bags. It just seemed that I had to use more bags in order to get the same strength. Then I found the red diamond. Although they are a generic brand they appear to actually put more tea in the bags and I am now actually using less than I was before. These are about 60 cents more than my regular generic brand per box, but in the long run, I think I am actually saving more.

It was a great taste to it. it's the same type of tea I bought from McDonald's and crave when I want tea. No harsh bitter taste.
