Compression is mild, which is what I was looking for. The cooling part works really well! I was surprised. When you move your arm around you can feel the wind through it, feels much more comfortable than more traditional compression. Also, you can see my tattoos through it, which was a bonus (see pic).

Thinking the medium would fit. I purchased the medium. Should have got the large. They are a little short. I love them though.

The material is ok the part that supposed to keep it in place doesn't hold it just rolled down I guess it's back to the drawing board,I was trying to get something different and comfortable that I can wear at night, instead, I got something that isn't supportive enough.
