Reliance 5 gal Portable Solar Shower with Kink-Free Hose

It's pretty good, no leaks. I had the older black version that lasted a couple of years of continuous use until the top started to tear around the handle, so I hope this one lasts a while too. The material is a little thinner on this one so it doesn't stand up well on its own. And if you fill it to the top and put it down it will fall over a little on the top and start to spill out. It's also easier to see the water level as the material is more transparent.

I go camping about 120 days a year in all weather conditions. I have six 7 gal Reliance Water Containers for my water supply to use for hygiene, dishes, cooking and drinking. I have several 5gal solar shower bags. The Reliance Solar Spray has the biggest shower head and longest hose of all my solar shower unit, It heated water to nearly 99 degrees in 3.5 hours. It has a long kink resistant hose. I use this shower bag to do dishes only because of it's shape and weight is too heavy to hang in my Walmart shower shelter. It does leak a little when carrying it from water source and sloshing around. For showers, I heat the water in my campfire using a Zodi fire coil and 2 7gal Reliance containers. I put water in the top container, attach coil hose to container, water goes out and down thru the coil while heating it in campfire and out into the bottom container. If the water is not warm enough, I repeat this process by reversing the bottom container to top and empty top container to the bottom. I then put the full hot water container outside my shower shelter, put the siphon hose and pump into the Reliance container, and run the shower hose thru the back top of shower shelter (where I cut and sewed a velcro open closing). I then step inside the dry room of shower shelter, hang my towel, strip and step into the shower stall, take my warm/hot shower....ahhh! invigorating after camping and being dirty all day from all my outdoor activities. As for cleaning the inside of tank, I mix a couple of drops of Aqua Mira according to the Aqua Mira directions, put Aqua Mira mix and clean water in tank and let sit for a couple of hours/days to sterilize it. I do the same with all six 7 gal Reliance Water Containers, the turn upside down for a day or so in the sun and flip over until dry. The Reliance Solar-Spray Portable Shower is not designed to be abused as it is not a heavy duty water container.

what good is the product if when you recieve it and fill it up, you find it has a small hole in it. It wont hold water long enough to get warm. I will try to get a replacement because it is suppose to have a five year warranty.

Bought this for camping and it leaked.
