I booked the installation service through Walmart for my new ceiling fan, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. The booking and rescheduling process was incredibly easy, and the value and guarantee provided great peace of mind. The technician arrived on time and was well-prepared, having reviewed my notes about integrating the fan with a smart switch. The job was more complex than anticipated due to the age of my old unit, but they handled the entire swap-out professionally and without complaint. They were friendly, respectful of my property, and left the workspace spotless. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, hassle-free installation!
the technician that they sent was extremely polite very nice knowledgeable the first thing he did when he came into my house was he took his shoes off and set them next to the door I mean didn't even have to ask or think about it and he took the box with the stuff in it when in the bathroom came out in 20 minutes show me how to work the bidet and left everything was clean nothing on the floor no garbage took everything with them I highly recommend
The installer seemed to do good job, having to sort out pipes of leaking old disposal. I seemed to be noisy thinking it was the new disposal. but the unit fell off after leaking under the sink when it fell. I had the card of the installer from Angie's but he did not call for 2 weeks. so I called Angie's and they sent the installer to reinstall. He had no explanation why it fell off but the sound is quieter now and not leaking. He did not say why he did not come. back but likely what Angie asks them to call Angie back. He just didn't call and did not to tell me Angie needs to be called first. so now I know what to do, but he won't be coming back.
Walmart held up there end with a timely installation. The Angi installation is where there was an issue. The young man arrived on time and was personable. The problem was the installation tech did not remove the knock out plug to where the drain hose goes into the the disposal so the water would drain from the dishwasher. I ran the dishwasher and it was a mess. I reached out to the installer and did not get a response. Had to get on the internet to fi find the resolve which was after seeing a video it showed how to remove knock out plug which I did and it working. A professional installer should have known that. There was a bit of a mess caused by didhwaswasher not draining. I did contact Walmart and they gave me a resolve. I highly reccomend Walmart
This service never happened. Tech called that morning for job details, decided he didn't want the job and made me cancel it. It was within the 24-hour window, so I was told I had to pay the $25 fee. He didn't want to cancel because I guess that gives him a black mark. So, he made me do it. The next paragraph is what I went through to not get charged $25. I had to explain the tech called me for more info on the project at 8:30 am for a 3 pm appointment, then declined the job after he was told what I needed. HE told me to cancel and when he sees I did, he would call back. (He did not). He would not cancel himself. HE made ME do it. I had to explain this (4 plus) times on a keyboard chat before I could verify I would not be charged the $25 fee. We just went round and round. Way too much work for something I didn't get! So now I'm stuck with a ceiling fan sitting on a table. Oh, and now I get to wait for 10 or 15 days for Walmart to refund my $149.
I ordered the garbage disposal and it was installed yesterday. I did not know that it did not include the electrical cord for the disposal. I paid for installation and the installer did not tell me it was without the cord until it was already installed. I got online and ordered one and it was delivered today. He was here when I did that and he agreed to come back today to install it. He gave me his schedule and his cell number and I sent him a text as soon as it arrived. He said he would install it today and he has not shown up and will not answer my texts or my call. What do I do?
Handy did not send a qualified installer. Not an electrician. He looked over the instructions several times and had no idea how to install a GFCI outlet. He took my outlet and cover and the box it came in with him and said he would return and never returned. I will be calling my credit card company. NEVER join Walmart . Horrible customer service to try dealing with the aftermath of this bad experience.
A dimmer switch is not what I scheduled. I ordered two GFCI's and only one arrived. Tried reaching out to the company to redirect the appointment and you can't reach a person with Angi's or Walmart to get the shipping issue corrected which is what was supposed to be installed. Waste of time.
I purchased the garage door opener in the beginning of June. the installation was scheduled and rescheduled three times with no installation available. I returned the unit at the end of June and here it is July 4th and I still have not received a refund so how can I be very highly of this and recommend it and I do not.
Installing through Angie was not acceptable. The installation was canceled twice. The second installation was canceled 4 hours before the plumber was to be at the house. I found a local plumber who had it installed before the time of the canceled installation. He charged $25 less than the cost of Angie. Due to the scheduling delays, it took about 14 days from the time I received the disposal to the installation.
