Retro Games LTD, THEC64 Mini Computer, Gray

Awesome little retro gaming machine. Very impressed with the quality and that it came with 64 retro C64 games. Takes me back to my childhood. Great price and amazing gaming machine.

I am a Commodore person and had a C64 , C64 C, 128 and 128 D. also 1541 and 1541 II Drives. So I went crazy when The C64 MiNi was at Walmark I ordered it right away. the order was received fast and 100% as all Walmark orders.

Update the firmware, Search web and put Gorf and Gateway to Apshi on USB drive. Add keyboard (will need usb hub. Play those to games by loading them, and smile that you have two of the best games made for the C64 (the third one is LodeRunner).

This is a sweet, little remake of my very first computer. The included games are great and are some of the more well known titles. True that it does not come with an AC adapter, that just because it was easier to package without having to make a separate power supply for every single voltage in the world. Just use and of your spare (you all have at least 2 or 3 of them lying around doing nothing) AC USB power supply and let'er rip!

The C64 Mini would make a wonderful gift to both a young person who wants to enjoy some classic gaming or, more significantly, to a person who grew up with a Commodore 64 and wants to relive the fun of playing some great games. In regards to the package not including a power supply, that's hardly a concern as AC to USB adaptors are ubiquitous as this point. Everyone has a few spares as well as USB ports on computers, TVs and power strips. On the off chance you don't have one, Walmart sells them for a few bucks.

It was great seeing the Commodore logo again, but these games that come back out don't use the original graphics. They recreate the game in a higher resolution, but leave it blocky. Some of the games on this are so bad, I can't play the game because I can't tell what is what. I wanted Sword of Fargoal, a classic rpg. I'm satisfied with just that. I'll probably never play anything else.

When the c64 mini first released I was not compelled to make a purchase. Now with the release the firmware that allows you to add whatever games you wish this made it a much more attractive purchase. It is very nostalgic have a miniature version of the c64. The included joystick it's not very good. You will want to find a USB gamepad that works for you. At a small USB hub so that you can have your USB card inserted for extra games,a keyboard attached which makes it much easier to play games than using the virtual keyboard, and the GamePad of your choice. If you grew up or enjoy games from the Commodore 64 era then this is really a easy decision to buy.

For anyone that owned a C64 this is a convenient way to bring back fond memories. With the latest firmware upgrade you can easily run many more games that aren't included on the system. You simply place the files on a memory stick, no modifications needed! As to the AC adapter all you need is a USB port on your TV or use a USB wall brick readily available anywhere.
