Necessary accessory
This non-skid pad worked perfectly, our car top carrier did not BUDGE on a 500+ mile trip through wind and on mountain roads. Added plus is the protection to the car roof. Well worth the extra $$.

Roof cover
We purchased this for a trip that we needed to use the roof rack of our van. The cover was a great idea, preventing both the roof and the non skid aided in the carrier sliding.

Definitely a plus
The non-skid pad helps tremendously to keep the car top carrier in place. I would definitely spend the extra 20 bucks. Especially, if you do not have luggage bars on the top of your vehicle.

Totally worth it
Totally worth it. Prior vacation we didnt have it and the bag on top did slide all the way to the back and then we had to tighten straps again. With this, didn't move at all.

Multi Purpose
I purchased this pad to lay over my bumper when I remove bikes, tools, etc from my hatchback. It works great to protect the car from damage and is very skid resistant. I also cut off a piece to use in the shower to avoid slipping. Machine Washable, durable and Multi purpose.

Waste of money
The mat is a waste. Makes a lot of noise with the air going through the bag and mat. There is a huge amount of excess mat that just flaps in the wind making a lot of noise. During a 6 hour trip the mat worked itself free after about 4 hours. The bag was still securely in place and thankfully the last two hours were quiet and peaceful. Don't waste your money, if you put bag on tight enough you don't have to worry about it moving and scratching your rooftop. I thought I was protecting my rooftop and giving the bag a more secure fit on top. Not the case.

Not skid proof
Had to remove pad after one day of the ends flapping in the wind causing noise on the hood and the carrier slipping on the pad. No matter how much I put under the carrier to keep it from flapping the carrier would slid out from under the pad and start making noise again. returning to store.
