Easy to use! Just write, scan then erase. Very economical and of course portable too. Highly recommend.
This notepad is perfect for everyday use! I really like that the pen that comes with it is actually a pen. I assumed it would me more like a dry erase marker but it's not at all so it makes it much easier to write with. I use the notepad for everything like grocery lists, bill planning, even keeping scores during family game night. I don't waste nearly as much paper anymore because I can continually re use the same page by wiping the old writing away. Honestly this really is a great product! I did find that you need to let the page dry a little after wiping old writing away before trying to write over it again. But all in all it's wonderful!
RocketBook (RB) is an intriguing device. The device is very simple: erasable 20 some page medium-sized notebook with QR codes. This is the only one a left hander like me prefers, since it has the top spiral binding that doesn't dig into your wrist as you write. It's fairly simple to set up; you'll need an RB account before storing notes. RB uses psychology to draw you into the process by assigning “missions” to accomplish. You must use the Pilot “Frixion” pens (about $2.50 ea.) to write. There are highlighters and colored pens available. I wouldn't recommend the yellow, green, and gray colors, as they don't scan in as well. Erasure is via microfiber cloth. Erasing must be done within 30 days of marking. The team really put a lot of thought into the app besides the “mission” aspect. Each page takes only a few seconds to scan after finding corners of pages. There is an OCR function when scanned into email, Google Drive, and other destinations. This choice is turned off by default. In testing, it did an average-good job on transcription. Pictures/doodles are ignored. Math functions are translated, depending on the complexity. I found the size of the writing is crucial. Try to write evenly, fairly large, and don't crowd the words. The app will try to convert struck-out words and phrases. Surprisingly, it translated a word I struck out better than the correction (see photo). What would bring this to another level: a pen holder built on the notebook. Likewise a place to keep the damp eraser. Yes, that would make the notebook bulkier, but would negate carrying 3 separate things with you. Of course, self-scanning pages, uploaded when connected would be awesome.
the rocketbook flip fusion notebook is a great idea I was looking forward to trying It is a great tool for note taking, planning and classwork but you have to be patient or you will smear your notes this pens ink takes forever to dry so you have to wait to flip page so you do not smear I really like the size and portability you simply take a little water and the cloth to refresh the page I am not a hard writer and am used to my graphics pen and tablet , so this is easy to transition to and better to take notes and save them on since I usually end up with a dozen different note filled pads when working on anything this allows all my work and Ideas to be added to my computer and makes compiling days of work much easier! it would be handy to have a way to keep pen and fabric together with the notebook if you have to carry it around but for a classroom or work office this would be great - I could see this being useful to take notes in any lecture or presentation and much easier to share notes or ideas - this would be a useful tool for a student as well as a teacher or in any office situation I think this will be useful for years if we can keep track of the pen and wiper =)
This is the neatest gadget!!! Good alternative for note taking when you don't have a laptop. Work school or just home use. I would recommend to students professionals or retirees. Planning on buying another to gift to my son for school!
The Rocketbook Flip top-spiral notepad is perfect for handwriting notes and drawing diagrams in a traditional but reusable form. Easily send your handwritten notes to popular cloud services like Google drive, Dropbox, Evernote, OneNote, Slack, iCloud, email and more using the free Rocketbook application for iOS and Android. The app works much better than I anticipated. Fast and accurate scans are sent in clear pdf's in small file sizes compared to taking a pic and sending a jpg. I have an older Android and it was still very efficient. Use any Pilot FriXion pen, marker, or highlighter to create vibrant and colorful notes again and again. The Flip is designed for righties AND lefties. Be sure to allow 15 seconds dry time to avoid smudging the ink. A great feature is auto titling. Just add four hashtags and a title name to the top of each page and it will auto title the pdf before sending accordingly. The size is nice and sleek, just a little bit smaller than a small laptop and it's light. The pages have seven symbols at the bottom of each page which you can assign the app to recognize as a particular service, then simply mark the symbol for the service you want before you scan, and it will automatically be sent to the relevant location. The app also crops and enhances the page to make the digital notes look even better than the real thing. I think you will be impressed with the scan quality. Scans take about 4 seconds to capture and upload. I think it should come with a soft case for carrying book, pens, small 2 oz. water bottle and wiping cloth for when you are not taking your laptop with you. Can this notebook stand up to the test of time and wear? Time will tell. Be sure not to leave in a hot car! It is a plastic product and will warp over 140 degrees. Writing with a gel pen on a synthetic surface is slicker than a traditional ball point pen and paper but is adapted to easily. Overall, it is a good product, but it is the app that makes it worthwhile
This is a dry erase notepad type. There is nothing "digital" about it. It is great if you dont need to save the pages and use for list, wipe away and write more list for example. I did not PERSONALLY find it appealing, but I am sure many students might
I received this item and it was made very well for the construction of the book, the lines are very faint. very difficult to use over my phone. it's for the young age era.
I would not recommend this for most people. I been trying to figure it out and gave up. The only thing I could do is write on the white pages and with included cloth erase what I drew or wrote on it. You are suppose to be able to send to the "CLOUD" what was written on the Notepad. I downloaded the app on my iphone after that I was lost. I think I will have to borrow my neighbors 7 year old to show me what to do next. I'm going to use it like a chalk board for listing what I have to pick up at the grocery store.
I read the terms and privacy contract and decided it was not worth the risk. This product fills a niche for cellphones, but is for adults only and not worth the privacy risk for me.
