I ended up buying this suitcase after ordering a different one from another company and it came used. This was such a breath of fresh air and half the price. Full disclosure, I haven't used it on a trip yet, but I will come back and update if I have anything else to say about it. Exterior (pros): First of all, the hard shell seems sturdy. Second is that there are black molded bumps on it so that the likelihood of it getting scuffed up on some sides is less. I appreciated that design feature. I really, really enjoy the free-flowing 360 wheels. It glides like butter on both carpet and hard floor. Lastly, the handle is secure. I own another carry-on suitcase of a different brand where the handle rattles around and that bugs me. This one is stiff and secure and raises to two different heights depending on what is most comfortable for you. Exterior (con): I do wish it came with the zippers that tuck into a combination lock instead of having to order one separately, which I did. It obviously wasn't a deal-breaker for me, but future designs should incorporate this as this is where most luggage is headed if not already there. Interior (pros): It's adorable design wise. obviously if you are ordering in magenta like I am, you love pink. It is polka dotted and cute throughout. there is a clipping belt that's easy to navigate to keep your items secure and even a zipper pouch inside. I like that the zippers won't ever seem to catch on anything and they are free gliding. All of the zipper pulls are intact and not wobbly. there seems to be lots of space as there's not a lot of fluff/ padding, which I appreciate so I can put more stuff in here. Interior (con): When you unzip the final layer of fabric on each side, the company put pieces of fabric where the molded bumps and handle and wheels are, which I appreciate so that they're not poking through the zippered lining. However, and I'm not exaggerating, a 6-year-old could have done a better job. The glue that was used was haphazardly spread everywhere so that it shows way beyond the fabric squares that are trying to cover the apparati that they are covering. Half of them look like they are about to fall off, and are cut in random shapes, and I even found an extra fabric square in there. Is it a deal breaker? absolutely not, but I'm a firm believer that if you're going to do something right, do the whole thing right. Overall review: This is an excellent deal on what seems to be a pretty well-made suitcase in a color I've been searching and searching for to match my carry-on. I will update the review after it has been used for traveling if I feel like it didn't meet its five-star rating.
this Item with this Price is Excellent, it is more than I expected, 4 wheeler spinner, and is expandable, durable
its great
Love the wide/large wheels for easy movement! This luggage is soo cute!
I immediately loved everything about this. The color, size, design, etc. it's also very lightweight compared to others and seems durable but I have to see how it holds up overtime. It holds up straight and doesn't lean and this 28 in can fit about 1-2 weeks worth of clothes/shoes.
Great piece
Excited about this Luggage size because it's in between my other two checked bag sizes which I hope will be perfect. A little disappointed in the color because red is not a real red , it's more like brick red or more orangy like terra-cotta. I was hoping it was real red and would match my backpack, it doesn't :( It does feel very thin, which I did read in several of the reviews, but the price was great for me to add another piece of luggage which I really didn't have to have. I was looking for something a little smaller than my gigantic suitcase, but a little bit bigger than my smallest checked bag. The size is perfect for what I was looking for. I won't be using it until June for an Alaskan cruise, but I sure hope that it does hold up in the airport tussles. 🤞.
This Rockland suitcase is not as nice as their older model. The outside color and inside lining, both look cheaply made. My luggage arrived with a defect in the outside mold, resulting in a puncture that showed on the inside ( under the lining). It was not very noticeable, but could have resulted in water entering the luggage. With all that said, I would still recommend the purchase as a decent hard-case, economical suitcase, as long as you double check for damage. The price is good and quality is decent. My older model was excellent and I am still a believer in the Rockland name.
I guess for the price I should've known better but it's cheap feeling and the wheels broke after it's first use
I purchased this same item a few years ago and have been searching for a duplicate. I returned this item because the color was more of a peach-color than the champagne color in the item description and item photo. I have had my old suitcase, this exact same item, for years with no issues.
