I have both Roku and Fire stick and I prefer the Roku by far. My Fire stick is sluggish and gets stuck or restarts and I don't have a lot of apps in there. Roku I have no problems and it's quick. I like to check for updates once every day before I start watching anything.

A nice set up for $15.00! My TV would not come in very good with the antenna, but this is Wifi and got it on sale for a great price! My son set it up easily and now Im back to watchimg great movies and local TV channels. Teying to find another one, but price up to 27.50. Glad i got it on sale! Works great!

I bought this for my 72 year old mother and she loves it! you can link your existing roku account to the new roku and it pulls up all of your apps and most will be logged in already. my mother loves how easy it is to use high-quality connected to her internet with no problems. I will be a forever customer of Roku.

I'm not very tech savvy, and this was very easy for me to install on my older flatscreen TV. I also liked that it wasn't really expensive like some units can be. Now I can enjoy watching Netflix, Hulu, and more right on my TV instead just on my laptop or phone.

This was a community impact purchase for my dear neighbor and friend who needed an option to watch live TV without spending hundreds of dollars with you know who Optimum not only that the price is unbelievable and at the end of it all my dear friend is very very happy and that’s the most important thing she’s able to watch her favorite channels. It is an exacellant buy. I went from paying 179 amonth for cable, phone to only paying 30 dollars a month through my internet. I am so pleased that I only paid with shipping and handling 38 dollars for the roku. I now get all the free channels and I also get my pluto, crackle, tubi, local news, and family life movies all for me. Also get all the roku tv stations for free.

I hooked this up ,seemed easy enough n fast BUT during setup roku asked for my credit card!!!!!! I couldn't finish setting it up ,they dont give you any choice- im not about to give my information when i never plan on using my cc for this , i feel scammed,its useless to me , something it should ssy on the box ! Older version didnt require cc...

I bought this because I prefer the hockey puck type format over the now-prevalent stick. Big mistake. First, I didn't notice that it has no TV controls on it. So I've spent the last 4 months with 2 remotes—1 to turn on the TV and control volume, the other to change channels. Not convenient for a bedroom TV. Recently it started degrading, as Rokus do with their planned obsolescence, but not this fast. It dropped some channels, then dropped the entire Recent section for a while; also buffered and struggled to connect sometimes. Today's stupid streaming trick was refusing to connect to the same internet every other device in the house was successfully using. I attempted to upload a picture of the pieces of it that are left after I threw it across the room, but the image errored out in multiple formats with different filenames. Now I get to go buy another one and go through the pain in the rear of getting it on the account and re-adding all of my channels AGAIN. It's like the third time this year. Sooner or later I'm going to wise up and move to a different ecosystem.
