I bought this as a gift for my 6yr old nephew with special needs. We thought it would be great for him to use for working his legs by pushing on the pedals. He is a little too tall for a Big Wheel %26 not able to ride a 2 wheeler yet. We wanted to get something that was well built %26 he could use for a few years. I also wanted to make sure it was sturdy enough for his brothers to use %26 not break, like they have some of the other ride on toys we have bought him in the past. His parents put this together %26 all the boys took their turn riding it! Mom %26 Dad were both impressed that it was sturdy enough for even their 11 yr old to sit on!
We purchased this for my non-verbal autistic son. We wants to ride a bike but struggled. This was the only thing we could find that would hold his weight and not be a massive adult tricycle. I have been very impressed with it.
This thing is so cool! My 7 year old loves it and all the neighborhood kids are jealous. It was easy enough to put together and the price was amazing compared to bike prices. I do wish it had a safety flag but that is easily added. 10/10 would buy again.
Great gift for girl or boy super fast to assemble and great price.
My 8yo son loves this cart. Just for size reference he is 50” tall and I would say at about max height for this ride. It's pretty quick on paved surfaces, and the fold down feature is great. Downsides that should be noted, there is no brake, the pedals only turn one rear wheel so not a lot of power for gravel or unpaved surfaces, along with the wheels being fairly smooth so limited traction.
The fact that these pedal karts fit in a trunk is awesome and what makes them worthwhile. Thats the reason to pick these over other karts so I'd only buy if you want to be able to put them in a car and take them places. Yes the turning radius is shallow but its workable and my boys love riding around our local parks! Build quality is decent but mine clicks every revolution in a concerning way. You can fit two in most compact suv trunks!
So the kids were super excited to take these Xmas presents to the park and ride! Well that ended almost after the first 100 feet of travel… the enclosed chain that drives the whole assembly instantly become loose and the more they tried to pedal the more it slipped to eventually one popped off completely. Side note these were being ridden on a flat asphalt park area. A customer shouldn't have to fix brand new toys right out the gate to get them to work the right way. They are being returned unfortunately and something wholly different will be bought, sad kid face.
Bought this for my 10 year old, who is little for his age and it is way to small. I would say that this is age appropriate for 4-8 year old.
only one back wheel turns when pedaled..so other just coasts. but bigest problem is there is NO turning radius. to keep it on the patio he has to start turning 4 or more feet from the edge. it can't be turned around 9ln my 18 ft patio. you have to turn it as far as it goes then back it up and turn again. and repeat at least 3 times. its awful
I ordered this and it has missing parts I've tried every way to get some sort of help. No help has been given, they just tell me to call someone else every time.
