Mintasitic is my slogan for this product. Its has an amazing aroma with the ginger root mint blend. And how refreshed your scalp and hair feel after just one use. And its perfect to use on children especially the fighting ones at bath time. Truly this product leave the perfect smoothness and fragrance. I highly recommend this product to each and every person reading this review!

The spray bottle is too small of solution, and the price of the solution is too expensive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Rooted Rituals Ginger Root + Mint Pre-Shampoo Root Rinse on my straight, textured hair prior to a shower as directed. I was interested in this product to help combat scalp build-up and oily roots. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked for me! I was having issues with flaking, due to build-up and dry skin on my scalp. This root rinse cleared away ALL my flaking and left my scalp completely clean and smooth. The ginger root and mint make this smell so good too! I did notice it seemed like I had to use a lot of product, but I also have 30" hair and a big head, so that's not really a shock. An added bonus, the company puts a plastic piece around the screw cap to the bottle, so it can't possibly open/spill during shipment and children can't get into it! I thought that was very clever and thoughtful.

I have been around a plethora of hair products for the past 20 years being a former stylist. I so wished I could of had such a product to use on my clients in years back! I loved how clean and ready my hair was after using this before shampooing. It really made the shampoo lather up easier and I even used less shampoo since it pre-treated my hair. I also love that it's safe for even color treated hair so it could be used on virtually any hair type. My only drawback was that it had to be sprayed on dry hair and worked into the hair for 5-10 minutes before washing, so it's not something that easy to get into a routine with. I also was hoping for more of an applicator tip to make it easier to apply right along the scalp. Otherwise it's a great working product that truly deep cleans and gives your scalp a healthy base to stay fresh and clean from build up.

I have always had a very oily scalp, an having to wash hair every day. Well I got this spray to apply on scalp and roots of hair to help oily build up. First off it smells amazing. So I sectioned my hair out an sprayed it on roots, an left it on for bout 15 mins (it says 5-10mins) but I got busy doing something an forgot about it. So I went ahead an rinsed it out before washing my hair. I really didn't notice a difference after blow drying on the first day. BUT I haven't had to wash my hair in two days now an it's NOT greasy looking. I love it!!! I hate the dry shampoo sprays it always looks powdery to me. This definitely works!! This product would be great for anyone that has oily roots. An hates having to shampoo every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the root pre wash root rinse for a week. I found the fragrance very nice and calming. I left it in as directed and washed afterwards with my own shampoo, even though the directions said to use Rooted Rituals shampoo and conditioner. It actually made my scalp feel a lot cleaner, and seemed to lift the roots of my hair. It had cleaned it so well that it got rid of the buildup that was weighing my fine straight hair down. I really liked the product, but probably would only use maybe once a month. I don't see a need for it regularly. I would recommend for people who use lots of styling products daily. This is definitely a product for them. Me not so much since I only use hairspray ancestry a day.
