Rowenta Turbo Silence Standing Floor Fan with Remote, 53 Inch, Portable, 5 Speeds, VU5670

Just added my 4th Rowenta table fan with remote to my apt. It's almost silent on level 1 which feels like a cool light breeze, & if I press "silent night", it's totally silent. Level 2 is white noise & feels like an air conditioning duct blowing on me. I use Level 3 in the stifling heat, & with "turbo boost", it's even stronger. This fan is so much quieter, yet stronger than any other fan I've ever owned. If I misplace a remote, I can use any of the others on any of the 4 fans - really like the remote, especially when in bed. It's easy to assemble, which also means that it's just as easy to remove the grill to clean the blades, except that you need a tiny screwdriver - that's the only pain.

Product's manual assembly was straightforward and easy. Fan motor is powerful when needed, silent when needed. This fan has options beyond anything I've ever seen. It also has a sturdy base and stable extension pole. Having a remote is a nice feature, although I would prefer a more substantial remote case, and for some reason it doesn't always seem to make contact with the fan remote receiver. Overall, it's the best floor fan I've ever owned and I am pleased to recommend this Rowenta.

I love this fan. Unbelievably silent. Very attractive and perfectly functional. Rowenta knows how to make a fan! The remote is very easy and there is even a place to store the remote on the fan when not in use. I spent a bit of time researching fans and I decided this one was the one for me. I am very, very happy with my choice.

This is my second Rowena fan and I bought it because it's durable and QUIET. Did I say quiet. You can't hear it . It's tough,I own the other fan for years and it's still running 8 hours a day 365 days for years . I cannot recommend this fan higher than perfect. If you need a quiet reliable fan buy this one

Received on time. Undamaged ( Packaged with heavy/duty material) I now own Five Rowenta fans. I Live in the desert with many 120 D/F days so these fans run 24 hours a day after day, after day. This fan is very sleek and has touch controls and a remote.

This fan is well made with great features. Comes with a remote control, silent night feature for noiseless sleeping operation and 3 speeds and a turbo button for a more intense cooling breeze. One feature I wish it had would be a button on the remote control to operate the oscillation function. Still need to manually pull/push the knob on the fan to start/stop the oscillation function.

It's not the time of year I would be using a fan to cool the house in the evenings during spring time, but I have used it to move cool ac air overnight and this fan is amazingly silent running on the 2 lower speeds. I wanted a high velocity fan and this is not in that speed range so I'm hoping it will do a better job than the floor models I have.

great fan, but the power button on the remote is on the "top" of the remote instead of the bottom, which is how my other rowenta fan remote is. I wish it were on the bottom. Also, it doesn't really have a "silent" or low mode like the other fan I have.

I gotta tell ya' this fan has been on my 'purchase radar' for two years. So this year when the 12" table fan, which has circulated air around my apartment for 10 years, needed replacing the choice was easy. Build-wise, the Rowenta is very robust, but there is ONE MAJOR ACCOMMODATION which Rowenta engineers neglected. That is, a means for picking up the fan from a low location, like FROM the floor: a METAL WIRE HANDLE like the one on the Holmes Fan the Rowenta is replacing. The lack of a wire handle to pick it up is a MAJOR DESIGN FLAW.

We bought this fan because we own an older Rowenta standup fan that is fabulous. The new fan base is made of cheaper material and not as sturdy. The actual fan has a vibration when using the oscillate feature. We have disassembled and tightened all parts but cannot stop the noisy vibration.
