while I read the reviews they were actually quite accurate. and I can confirm that it's easy to hit the buttons to give a spray or shot of Steam while you're actually using the iron to iron a piece of fabric perhaps they could have been ergonomically designed a little bit better so that they weren't accidentally pressed. other than that this is an excellent iron the cord is very long and it holds a tremendous 12 oz of water that's that's enormous for an iron!
This is my second Rowenta iron. They are heavy enough to make pressing easier. You don't have to press down so much. It steams wonderfully! It adjusts down for more delicate fabrics. It holds plenty of water, so you don't have to add so often. It can also be used vertically as a steamer.
Pros: This iron hits that it advertised it could do! Cons: The only thing to be aware of, is that the Steam Switch has push button tabs located on the right and the other and left sides, that pop-up the steam switch, and "anti-calc" valve. (see p.28 in manual). Make sure those tabs are locked by pushing down on that component until it clicks into place! It can become disengaged when grabbed while handling the iron, causing a lack of steam, and possible water leakeage into clothing.
Yes, I like this model. It's user friendly. It is a little heavier than my previous iron, very sturdy. I think I can get used to it. The cord length is just right. Most wrinkles disappear without the shot of steam. This is just my first tryout, so I will see how it goes. Thank you for the prompt service.
This iron is very similar to the Rowenta that it replaced. I like that it's a little lighter, and that it doesn't need cleaning as often. The instructions say to wait 60 minutes before dumping unused water, which can be inconvenient. Otherwise, I like the way the iron glides over fabric and the comfortable handle grip. In addition, the water tank capacity has been more than sufficient.
I love the way it gets the wrinkles out of my pre packaged blouses, with the steam. I am older so it is a little hard for me to remember how to use. But I just make sure and I take my time.
The product is fine, your delivery is not. Every time I have something delivered it is delivered to a neighbor. The house numbers are CLEARLY marked and driver can't seem to match the number on the label to the number on the house. I always have to go chase down the package .
I love the iron except the steam and spray button on the tile top. The way I hold my aunt iron it seems I am constantly spraying and I do not like that. Other than that the iron is nice and I do do a lot of ironing. Thank you for your wanting to know about your product
The iron requires that it be filled in its horizontal position but the water quickly backs up and starts to spill out as you pour, so you need to repeatedly stand it up to allow the water to flow downward into the iron. Also, while ironing, each time you stand the iron on its heel in order to move or rearrange the item you are working on, the iron shoots out a huge blast of steam, quickly depleting the water reservoir. The temperature dial is neither easy to read nor intuitive to use and, as irons go, this one is pretty heavy.
Faulty. Worst iron I've ever owned Doesn't always perform the same way. Sometimes it gets hot really soon and goes from 0 to scorching in minutes. Ruined three new tops. Other times it refuses to heat up and takes forever to iron. Also heat is not evenly distributed. Plate is not nonstick and it does not Glide easy.
