Royal & Langnickel sent me this free sample of Azure 24pc Basic Color Marker Set through the BzzAgent sampling program. I used the dual-tipped markers to draw several pictures and was impressed with the color saturation of the ink and that the markers didn't dry out with extensive use. It was also nice to have a variety shades and not just the typical basic primary colors that my other set has. There is even a marker just for blending. Although the markers are alcohol-based, there wasn't a strong smell to the ink. I also liked the fact that the plastic container that holds the markers has a handle for easy toting.
My kids and I used these to color with and we loved all the color variations for this box. However was a little sad that they bled so heavily. Other than that I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family as they made art projects a breeze with the two sided thickness
These are great high quality markers I have been using them to draw pictures for my kids to color. There's no bleeding like with other markers I've used. I would recommend these to people looking for markers that create nice sharp lines with no bleeding. Five stars
I had never used alcohol markers before and I was excited to try these. I decided to try a 3D picture to see how the grey gradient markers blended. It just a matter of minutes I drew a quick sphere. My skill wasn't perfect, but with these the blending was easy. They come with small tip and chisel tip ends for all your needs.
These alcohol markers are great! I am a beginner with this style of drawing and art. I found the markers flow very smooth and blend well. I thought the blending marker was a little tricky at the beginning of use, but over time I started to figure it out. These are a great value and budget friendly option for anyone thinking about getting into art with alcohol markers.
I am a beginner with alcohol markers. I do however own copics %26 plenty of other comparable brands. I found it harder to blend these but I didn't use good paper. I do find that they are not as smelly or strong as others and that's super helpful. The colors are good/ it's hard to find a nice yellow and this luckily does have that. The “orange” is more of a muted peach. The “red” is cooler tilting towards madder lake color. I hope this review helps someone. Worth the try! Lindsey frugal crafter reviews these and states they aren't bad for budget markers! R%26L make awesome brushes so I hope to expand my collection there as well.
These markers are a good, budget friendly option for alcohol based markers. They are brightly and vividly pigmented and write smoothly. I wish there were a couple of lighter values in this pack. I really have to grab some of my other brand markers in lighter shades to get a full range of values. They blend pretty well, but if you have used expensive markers you will see that they don't perform as well. Overall, I think these markers perform very well for the price point.
I really like the doubled sided markers, the wide side was great for filling out large areas and the finer tip was great for smaller areas. The biggest negative would be that these markers bleed a lot, while some is expected from alcohol based they bled a lot. Another con would be the color names and color swatch doesn't match the true color all the time. Overall I still enjoy using these markers.
These are great alcohol base markers so far. They blend okish. The dual tip comes in handy. So far, these are pretty decent grayscale markers so if you're looking to get some decent ones, these are perfect. *** I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. My opnion is based on the usage of the product.
I like the colors and how easy it is to use. However, someone like me, I like to have a chart of colors so I know what they look like on paper. I've tried to find a chart for this particular brand, but I can't find any, anywhere. And it's incredibly disappointing. Even Master's Touch, Hobby Lobby brand, of alcohol based markers even have a chart!
