Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, Soft Core, 24 Count

These are the best pencils I am a beginner and these are the best pencils I have worked with so far. Really great for blending colors

the best colored pencils i've ever used. they're soft and creamy so they color really smooth. they are easy to layer on top of other colors and have lasted me a long time!

I've known of Prismacolor since I was in first grade and, to me, they've always been the best brand. They're creamy and have a lot of pigmentation. They're worth it.

Based on YouTube reviews I wanted to give Prismacolor a try. I find that I am using less pressure on the pencil and getting more color on the paper. There is more control while shading. Blending is a lot easier. The inexpensive brand was waxy. It took too much effort to get color on paper; I will be investing in more Prismacolor pencils. Delighted!

I bought these colored pencils as a gift for my teen daughter for Christmas and she loves them. She has showed me some of the drawing she has done with them and they are very vivid and the blending is awesome. She is very happy with them so I'm very happy with them.

My daughter is very artsy and wanted these special colored pencils- but they were hard to find in stores locally. We found them online and not only were they affordable they arrived very fast. No breaks or damage and the colors just like we hoped for

Was very happy to find these Prismacolor colored pencils for an excellent price. Checked with other art supply stores and Walmart was by far the best price for exact same item. Contently had them shipped to hometown store for free.

The pencils are really the softest and best quality you can easily find, but their price and need to be sharpened so frequently are stumbling blocks. Thank goodness for Walmart, you can find Prismacolor Premier easily and for a good price. My store actually had the 24 count pack in the back to school clearance section for only $10.00. need I say that is a steal? The pencils come sharpened in a unique way which no sharpener can duplicate (at least I have not found one in the many sharpeners I've looked into). The pencils are sharpened to a short, sharp point instead of the usual long sharp point. The way the come - the short sharp point - is probably the way they should be sharpened and is intended for the softness of the core. If you are able to sharpen them in the same way, you have much less waste. [Prismacolor should include the sharpener, it would really help] So the pencils are NOT for fine detail, they are for laying down thick, juicy colour. And that is why these pencils are the most popular and sought after. Just remember, because the core is soft you will use up the pencils very quickly.

Packaged wonderfully. I already have a huge set, but bought these for my mom to try. I prefer oil based as I don't care for the waxy build up of these. I use them for certain projects but aren't my "go to" pencil for coloring.
