Royal & Langnickel Sketch Small Tin

This came with all the necessities for a beginner. The sketching possibilities are endless with this set. Each item was well-made and didn't feel cheap, and I really appreciated how well the eraser worked, as well. 10/10 I would definitely recommend.

I love this sketchbook! It's a great size, and the paper is really pleasant to draw on, and it's not flimsy/ thin paper, it's almost as thick as printer paper, but has a slightly different feel to it. The sketchbook isn't too sturdy as the front cover is basically paper and the back cover is cardboard, so I don't take it anywhere, but I don't mind it. It's still a very nice sketchbook that I enjoy using, and since it has a lot of pages, it will definitely last me a while.

I highly recommend these pencils. They draw quite smooth and look amazing on paper. Great quality across the board. The items are very decent. The eraser is a little sticky but after a few uses it gets better but all in all a very amazing product and a very good beginning essential.

Ok so I've been into sketching since I was a kid. It was an escape. A sort of therapy for me. So I've learned my way around art supplies. I do like the the texture of the paper. If you're into sketching, you know there's a specific texture you need. This is good! I've already bought some for my kids! The pencil kit is very useful. Everything you need for a good picture! I love that there was charcoals included. And the pity eraser! I can't function without the putty eraser! Also happy about the shader thing… I don't like using my fingers for shading lol

I thought all of these plastic play yards had the same mechanics of how they work, NOPE!! I was hesitant to buy this because it had only one review, without any description. But with returns in store being fairly easy, I took the gamble because it was on sale. I am so happy that I did! Many other versions have methods of locking the panels in place that involves a screwing motion, some by hand, some by a tool that comes with it that I would have put somewhere very very safe not to loose it… and then when the time came forgot where that safe place was. Most styles either tighten at the top or bottom to help keep the desired shape or configuration that you want. This style it snug at the top and bottom which I was super excited about. That's because at each of connections is like a zig zag circle(for lack of better description). The pointy parts hold it from spinning or coming loose. older babies or toddlers see a weak area, they attack it, so I'm grateful for the secure connection at the top and bottom! Also I preferred the anti slip bottom instead of suction cups on bottom. I bought the 18 panel option so that I'd have options on how I wanted it set up, or if I ever want to change it. I didn't use all of the panels with my current set up, so I'll store the extra few panels away. A negative for some people may be that this can't fold up accordion style, you have to disconnect each panel. I don't mind this because I'll keep the box it came in for when I want to fold it up and store, or bring it somewhere. I don't plan on moving it often. This thing is a sanity saver! Even if they cry, you know they're in a safe environment and you can go pee without rushing! LOL *TIP- when assembling, start with the gate panel! It only opens in one direction! That will determine the direction of the rest of the panels! It won't let me add photos from my cell phone 🤷🏻‍♀️ If I can figure it out I'll add some.

My daughter and I absolutely loved using the Royal & Langnickel Essentials sketch set. It is made of high quality materials for an awesome medium to sketch with. This is great for any age just starting out or if you have been sketching professionally. I highly recommend this for everyone.

I received this set for free to review the product. I have to say that having used some of their other products in the past, that they are still one of the best quality brands for the price. The application was smooth and holds up against any other graphite pencils and charcoal that I've used in the past. I would absolutely recommend this set to anyone just starting out or anyone who has been using graphite for some time, it really is excellent for beginners and the more experienced alike. Truly a great value and quality.

The pencils are perfect, they feel like you're drawing with butter and when I blend them to shade, omg its just perfect. Me and my family love drawing so we know some techniques on shading and this honestly made us feel like professional artists. The books cover is very thick and the sizing is perfect, you can take it on the go and find a time to draw wherever you go.

I received a complimentary Royal & Langnickel Essentials Sketching Pencil Set for testing purposes. This is a 14 piece set. It has everything my middle schooler needs. These are the exact items her art teacher request they bring to class. The tin makes it great for on the go and she is excited to take on vacation this year to sketch some landscapes.

My most favorite thing about this set is the watercolor kit. I was amazed at how much product came in such a small kit. Also, the watercolor flip kit has everything you need, just provide the paper and the water and you have all the essentials to create your masterpiece! The sketching kit is great for beginners and pros alike, once again including everything you need to create your art. The sketchbook I received is great quality, the only downside for me is how big it is. It id on the heavier side, so it may not be the easiest sketchbook to travel with. All of these products are of great quality, and I will definitely be purchasing in the future.
