Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Advanced Gloss White Protective Enamel Spray Paint, 12 oz

I have used the Rust-Oleum Paints to put a second coating on various metal items in my backyard that were starting to rust. We had a metal fence and a climbing apparatus that the paint was starting to come off and there was rust underneath so we used one coating of the base layer paint from Rust-Oleum and then another coating of this Protective Enamel Spray Paint. It is easy to use. I would only use it outdoors or with the windows open as it does have a strong smell but it goes away within a day of airing it out. It lasts a long time and is a great way to save money by doing it yourself instead of hiring painters.

I needed this Rust-Oleum to paint a railing outside the back door of my guest house. It had rusted very badly and looked dull and ugly. The paint cap was easy to open with a light squeeze which is a huge plus since some caps I break trying to pry open. I shook the can several times and I was able to begin painting. The flow was smooth and heavy enough to cover in one pass. The railing looked fabulous and the anti rust feature was a real plus for me. I sprayed the top and several rungs without ever getting any drips from the sprayer, it never glopped like cheaper paints. I found the RustOleum paint to be a great product. I will never buy cheaper discount spray paint again. I had zero runs and was able to complete the whole project and still have almost half a can left. I have used cheap paint and had to wipe runs and use 2 cans for similar projects but not with this paint!!!. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I have been needing some of this paint for my small utility trailer and kept putting it off, so when it came up on Spark Reviewer, I thought why not. I got it and took it outside to see how it would do. Last year my son added some sheet metal to the areas that the wheeler went up and down on the gate. The grate that was on there was bending from the constant up and down so he put the metal on to the gate to give it a bit more support. I didn't get to paint it until this year and it was showing a bit of rust. This paint did a great job of covering it up and making it look nice and clean. There were several other areas that needed touchup and so I decided to take the rest of the can and spruce up the trailer. The paint covers up the bare metal very well and looks good. The spray pattern worked very well for coverage and I didn't get any spatter or running. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to do a bit of touchup on a project or maybe as a good base for any project.

You really can't beat Rust-oleum for outdoor use. I used this in black. It is perfect for metal furniture or anything you want to be rust resistant. We actually used this on a rocket my son and I built for Cub Scouts. It has great coverage and dries quickly so time between coats is maybe 5-10 minutes. One thing I really like is the lid. I sometimes have trouble getting the lid off of spray paint. This lid has two grips on either side that when depressed lets the lid come off easily. Living right by the ocean means that we always have trouble with corrosion from the salty air. So, I keep several cans of this around for quick touch ups. Great product. I always trust that I can depend on Rust-oleum to do a good job on whatever I am painting.

Overall, I am satisfied with the Rust-oleum Stops Rust Advanced Gloss White Protective Enamel Spray Paint. The 12 oz. is a good size and lasted for quite a while on several items! This worked great on metal surfaces and coated the entire surface nicely and evenly. The white is a nice bright white color, and gives the surface a very clean look. So far, it's held up really well with no chips and the color still looks fresh. I haven't noticed any corrosion or rusting of the metal but it's only been a few weeks of observing it. I'm hopeful it will hold up for a long time! It seems really durable and high quality, and it works well on items that are outdoors or indoors. I did let the items sit out for a few days to air out because the smell was strong, like your typical spray paint. I don't even notice a paint smell at all now! The spray paint can was easy to use and even though it seemed to spray faster than other spray paints, it didn't come out too fast when sprayed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality spray paint.

I love Rust-Oleum. It has helped me fix metal painted items around my house without any problems and it stays on even for furniture left outside. I use Rust-Oleum on my metal patio chairs, light posts in my driveway, and light fixtures outside of my house. I only need to spray them every 5 years. Pretty good considering. I don't need to replace any fixtures.

I decorate frames for friends and family with seashells. I usually get any frames any color and spray paint them. I really love Rust-Oleum spray paint. I never need to add any primer on these either. One coat and they're done. It always looks great after it's all dry. And I never have to add a gloss coat to any of my frames. I always get paint on my fingers and hands and this washes off so easily. I always use coconut oil to help get it off. No scrubbing required.

I have a patio set, with the time, weather it shows a lot of wear and tear. After summer I like to clean it well and give it a fresh coat of white spray. And this is my go to spray for outdoor items. It freshens up and cleans the whole thing. Also protects the chairs in snow and sun. This one particularly is glossy finish. And gives a light shine that give my chairs a little more sheek. Highly recommended.

I used this gloss protective enamel to paint my grandson's Red wagon wheels white. The wheels even though they were painted white probably 20-30 years ago are rested. I went ahead and wash the wheels off and let them dry. Then I went ahead and sprayed the wheels with this enamel. I let the enamel dry. After the wheels were completely dried the wheels look brand new. I do like how this enamel does not clump or run when I sprayed it on the wagon wheels. One can of the enamel was enough to spray four wagon wheels. I'm very impressed with this gloss protective enamel.

Yeah that's used on every finished product on some of my lawn furniture that need to be repainted scraped everything down spread this on let it sit for about for 5 days and then put the color I desired on top of the top of it so far no bleeding no resting with a couple rainstorms so I'd have to say I'm happy with the product I would buy the product again
