Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Gloss Protective Enamel Maui Blue Spray Paint, 12 oz

I needed a rust inhibiting paint close to the old Plymouth Petty Blue color which was not available except in a large cost prohibitive quantity at a paint store. I found this Maui Blue color at Wal-Mart on-line and had it sent to the store. This Rust-Oleum sprayed on smoothly and looks great. Just make sure to shake can before each use and I sprayed lightly, 2 coats.

I used this item to paint two ugly old chairs I purchased at a yard sale for $2 a piece, and they turned out great!

After creating my masterpieces, I give them several coats of the clear Rustoleum spray to keep the pipes from rusting and still preserve the original patina. Don't be afraid to try this. Great product.

We are currently working on a grinch theme and cutting out and painting all of the characters. We needed a clear coat to put on the finished products that could withstand the snowy months outside to prevent the paint from cracking and chipping off. We used this clear coat and so far they look wonderful and are holding up through our first snow of the season.
