super nice snug, sits nicely on the hips, though I don't really have hips, so maybe take that with a grain of salt. Velcro is great; reliable, predictable, without undo wear on the map side. I took that feature for granted until I received a hip belt with literally laughable Velcro... remember, my hips should be no challenge lol So, winning!

I wore a similar belt years ago and this is quite the upgrade! Very comfortable, I love the additional straps that add support and keep me snug. Minor issue, there's a smell to the belt that reminds me of sports equipment. Hopefully, it will lessen over time. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

i think this works what is intended to do. I've read others reviews about it and I dont agree. it works well for me. of course it's going to slide up because your hips are wider than your waist... but it stays in place for the most part. i just take it off and put it back where it needs to be only twice a day and that's really good. it slides up a little, especially after Ive been sitting for awhile. while walking, it stays in place just nice. velcro does a great job. not too velcro-ey where it takes part of the band with it every time. As for recommending it, I have. multiple times already! so get this belt if you have sciatica pain to squeeze your SI joints together a little for some stabilization and a reduction in pain levels

Takes away pressure on hips and at least 60% of the pain. This with a couple ibuprofen and I'm good!
