SAF Instant Yeast - Red 16oz Vacuum Pk Bag

I have used this brand of yeast for many years for baking bread. The loaves have always risen successfully. even though the yeast is almost a year old. I put a quantity of it in a mason jar to use easily. The rest I seal up tight and freeze until i need to replenish the mason jar. It is an excellent product.

I gave this 5 stars because it was the yeast with the highest recommendation for my bread machine. Unfortunately some porch pirate decided they needed my package more than I did so I never got to try this yeast! I hope they were planning on doing a lot of bread baking if not I'm sure they were very disappointed with their heist of the day!!! 🤣 Unbelievable world we're living in today! 🤬

So superior to active dry yeast in bread making. even beyond the expiration date. It can be mixed with flour with great results. Worth waiting for delivery.

Was not sure if I can use it in bread machine , but worked well when tried. It is a big 1 lb pack , I stored in refrigerator after opening it, so it can be used for long time.Was very happy to find this in Walmart during this pandemic difficult times.

I have used this yeast for a few years now. It never fails me. I bake bread every week. This one pound package lasts me about 1 year. It works so easily. No need to proof it. It just goes in with the flour. Always rises perfectly. We are never disappointed with the results.

Thanks to Walmart and the advent of using outside vendor services online, I not only found Saf-Instant Yeast, but the delivery service was much quicker than the vendor or Walmart stated. I'm impressed. Now I'm baking the many breads, yeast cakes and other pastries that fill my kitchen with the bouquet of fresh baked goods. Walmart is my online store of choice these days.

I have had the hardest time finding yeast during COVID 19. I was so happy to find this on walmart.com it got delivered so fast and works perfectly! Baked some beautiful breads and cinnamon rolls. It's a big bag and yeast goes bad quick, so store it in the fridge after opening.

Make wonderful bread and scones. I freeze the pack and take what I need when baking. The last pack lasted an entire year and was still great on the last batch of naan bread.

This is the real deal. No dead or coated spores. Store excess in refridgerator of freezer for long term.

It will not rise the bread. I have yeast that expired in 10/2024 and it works better than the new bag I just received. I am not satisfied with it at all.
