If you have toddlers running around your home these are a MUST! I have so many sharp points around my home and have been trying to cover them up with rubber ends but most just fall off after a few days. These have a great way to stick on with double sided stickers and they really hold on well! A few weeks of being stuck and everywhere I have placed it seems to be holding very well. I would highly recommend these to anyone that has sharp corners that need protecting!
This product helps prevent knicks and injuries to people above all else. It is also very convenient and doesnt requires major work since its easy but still a task to setup. Having a video online would be helpful for installation but overall a great product.
My preschooler is notorious for running face first into corners since he started walking. He's the perfect height for a black eye, so these corner guards have saved him multiple times already! These look nicer than the rounded harder silicone ones and seem to hurt him less when he inevitably bounces his face off of them. The piece that goes against the furniture is hard plastic covered in a softer silicone 3 sided cush. I think the harder plastic will help keep it better adhered than others, and so far so good in that regard. Applying the adhesive is a bit of a pain to get the triangles off of the sheet and onto the guard and then onto the furniture. It would be nice if they were already on the corner guards and you just had to pull the backing off, but otherwise I have zero complaints about these. They look nicer than the alternative and seem to work as well or better! I will buy more of these when we need more!
I love the ease of use, they are quick to install. The only thing I didn't like about them is that the outer part is sticky. We have dogs so dog hair stuck to the ones we put up. And we had put some on the corner of our bed framed when we walked around it would catch your pj bottoms.
These are very soft and easy to install even tho the adhesive is not previously cut, I had a little bit of trouble deciding wich piece to cut, unfortunately I won't be able to use them because they didn't fit on my dinning table because the wood plank on it is thinner that the protectors so it won't adhere from the sides of the table, I have a 3 year old that is tall enough to hit her head on the corners everytime she gets close to the table, I will find another use for them.
The guards seem to be well constructed and have several stickers to allow multiple places to prevent the guards from following off. The inside portion might not fit certain corners. Wish the tips were a bit more rounded and cushioned. Thankfully, my child has not tested out how much they would prevent injury and I hope that is the case.
Clear, bubbly, soft. It is a pain to install because of the 3 different 2 sided tapes that you have to fill be the right side for each one. So it takes like 5 min each one to get it ready to stick. Kind of a pain. But once installed i do have peace of mind that my kids won't hurt themselves.
I tried these on the bottom corners of my kitchen island. My toddler was just the right height now where she kept hitting her head on the bottom of the island. These were easy to install, but that's about my only pro. First, I want to say my island has ridges around the end, so that might be my problem. But these do not stay on. I walk by them and they go flying. I have added additional adhesive strips, and have reapplied them multiple times. Still flying off all the time. Mind you, I'm talking about an island, that is in a high traffic area. So maybe they would work better on end tables or something like that. But for my intended use, I do not recommend them.
I was looking forward to installing these asap because my toddler had an accident a couple of days prior to receiving this item. They ended up walking into the corner of the kitchen counter and hurting their left temple. Luckily it was tile and a rounded corner, but still dangerous enough to leave a bruise. Once opening package I immediately knew these would not fit. These are meant for sharp and thinner edges than my countertops. Having said that these are well made, sturdy and will help to minimize injury if toddler/child walks into anything. Still looking for a spot to use these!
These are not a quick process. They came with 3 sticky tabs per guard you had to install into the guards and then peel the paper to stick to the surface. That is 12 little triangles you had to fit in just right. You also can't do this process with a toddler awake that needs/wants your attention. The look is great and they have held to the table but the previous corner guards I had were much simpler because I just had to peel and stick. That aspect of the design makes it hard for me to recommend this to anyone even though they are durable and visually pleasing.
