Need to lock toilet
If your potty training and your toddler knows how to open up the toilet. They will put stuff in your toilet so better to lock it then not walk if your potty training and your toddler knows how to open up the toilet. They will put stuff in your toilet so better off to lock it then not lock it.

Great safety device for toddlers!!
Yep, my granddaughter kept getting into the toilet thank goodness for these! Great safety lock, but easy enough to open that our kindergarten can open the toilet, not the 18 month old! Ha ha!

Would not recommend and will be trying other
This is definitely not something that works..the top works fine but the side that goes down is nowhere near strong enough to hold a toilet lid locked.

Not worth it - even with it being cheap.
Doesn't hold. Stuck to my lid but when on the other side, it would just fall right off.
