Music sounds outstanding and podcasts etc are perfectly fine, even in a noisy environment. Once you get used to the 'open' sound difference background noise isn't an issue. I listened to the cricket while walking along a busy road in a gale and could still hear without turning the volume up into the red. But then I got my first phone call since getting them and wow. Every other set of buds I've worn, wired or not, if its windy the caller has trouble hearing me but I had a 20-minute call in a gale with no issues. That blew me away (the performance, not the gale!).
I received these early via pre-order and I am super happy with them. I have slightly small ears and I use the larger ear pieces that come with the beans and they are a snug fit and don't fall out. I was worried about them falling out while running but this is no issue at all. I might have to ease into wearing them consistently because they feel different to normal buds and might make my ears uncomfortable until I get used to the (like wearing in a new pair of shoes). My husband (larger ears) has also tried them and they fit him well without falling out too. I highly recommend getting these if you have issues with the normal inner ear buds.
I don't usually write reviews, but my God, these are absolutely amazing! I've tried other wireless headphones but nothing works quite like these. They're loud, they cancel out noise and they're so comfortable. And lastly, the battery life is amazing! I got them 3 weeks ago and still haven't charged them. I use them for around an hour 4-5 days a week! I really don't understand the negative reviews because Samsung absolutely smashed it with these. You can't even see them and that's what I love. You can touch them to pause, control your music from them, they're just elite. If you're wondering whether they're good with other phones; then yes! I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and these are the best Buds i've tried! Super simple to set up and quick pairing! Buy them, you just won't regret it.
Where to start these buds are amazing, great build quality and design. I was worried at first regarding the fit and comfort but they sit on your ears perfect and are so comfy you can't tell they are in. Spund quality is sublime with nice deep base. The app has great customisation and the pairing is easy and quick. Highly recommended to anyone. Now to wait for my note 20 ultra
So satisfying! The sound on those beans is so full and alive! The bass sound is super. The active noise cancellation really works imo: when activated, the humming of your surroundings disappear . My only complaint is tapping on these cuties is tricky. It's practically impossible to get a triple tap to go back in a song
I bought this yesterday cause couldn't find time to buy myself bday gift. So far it's very amazing. I love the design, colour, sound quality and the active noise cancellation. Of course it'll take time to get get used to the tapping but overall, I really LOVE IT best earphones have ever had.
Samsung have really pulled it off here! They are a really snug, low-profile fit. Yes, the active noise cancelling could do with a tweak and the same menu option as it's predecessor, but the passive option is so good that you don't really need it! If the Samsung boffins can throw in an IP rating to match the premium galaxy range, market domination is on the horizon!
I really like these was buds. I received mine as a bonus for pre-ordering the note 20 ultra and have been very impressed. They sound great and the bass is good, not incredible but not bad for in ear head phones. Battery life is good and they have a great Bluetooth streingth up to about 15m seperation between the buds and the phone with no issue (I'm using them with a note 9 currently while a wait for a 20 ultra case to come). They virtually never drop out, it's did happened a few rare times, not from distance but possibly a software glitch which seems to be fixed now. The downsides are minor but worth mentioning. -They fit funny in my left ear and after a while become uncomfortable. This is probably just my own personal ear structure so not going to be a thing for everyone. -The Active Noise Cancelling is low to non existent. While I can in some cases notice a small change from it being on to off its really very minor and in all the situations I have tried (including many that should support ANC well with low droning noises) it has been low to negligible so I don't waste the extra battery power most of the time. -Because of the open design any volume setting above what the phone considers "loud" i.e. the warning for "loud music listening" comes on the phone, will be heard by other people. Can they hear exact conversations? Likely not most times, but they can definately hear you have music or conversations going on. Over all I love these. They fit well (for the most part), you can jog with them, battery life is great, touch controls work well and allow you to skip and rewind using a single ear buds (huge advantage) and they look nice. Kudos to Samsung for not just imitating Apple but creating something genuinely distinctive and doing it rather well.
I really wanted to like these. The sound quality is great and easy enough to use but unfortunately they are too big for my ears and just hurt. Good for people with a normal/larger inner ear but not recommended for people with small ears. The signal starts to drop once you're about 2 rooms away from your phone.
Having had issues with the silicon tipped in the past when i saw the design of the Buds Live i was really pleased with a more open design and one that was more desecrate than most on the market. I spent some time reading the pre release reviews and decided that these would be the perfect solution for me. The design is good but after a while i found my ears were hurting even with the small wings attached. After sweating i also felt like they were going to fall out. I will admit the sound is pretty good but did not blow me away, there was a slight Tinny sound to them. Active noise cancellation is non existent and my impression is that it just seems to add more on the lower end with it turned on, My main issues are with the connection and sound quality, when i was on a phone call pretty much every phone call would be echoed, i found the right bud would cut in and out and always be slight lagged compared to the left one, When listening to music after a while i would find that the Bass would seem to cut in and out which was really noticeable and annoying, as for the connection if I was to cover my right ear in any way the connection would cut out and really struggle to play music back. I did like the touch sensitive controls but found that when i needed to adjust the buds i would accidentally pause the music or skip a track. I would mention that i did return the first set as i thought they were faulty but the second had exactly the same issues. It is a real shame as i really wanted to love these but having to return them again. :(
