This is really a great watch. i can understand the negative reviews, but I've had this watch for two months and it accurately has logged my sleep schedule from week one. it wasn't there at first, but when I continued to sleep with it on it became far more accurate. It logs my steps fairly accurately. I originally bought this watch because it was an active. Nothing else really mattered to me. I wanted a watch that could do it all. I greatly enjoy going on long hikes and just being out in the wilderness and wanted a watch that could withstand the weather. I'm very abusive to technology, so I bought a protective cover for the screen, but the watch has held up to being bashed against walls, doors, windows, my car door, and anything else that catches my wrist. I would upgrade if I have to, but I do greatly enjoy this watch.

It came exactly how I expected and everything about it is nice to me. My sister and I each bought one. If you have Samsung phone, I would recommend buying this watch. Mine came with no cracks or damage. The pink color is my favorite. The rim of the watch is rose gold and the band is pink. It comes with an extra band in case the first band breaks, mine has not.

I brought this watch to replace my other most expensive Galaxy watch and I'm impressed. I wear this one more than the other one. I mostly got it to wear to work as a work watch. I forget to swap them out and end up wearing this one more. I think its a good watch. It does have to be Bluetooth so ofcourse there is not LTE built in. But honestly I don't need that with this watch. It's perfect.

This watch is great. It does everything I need it to plus. Other watches I've had would continually bug me in the middle of the night while this one tracks my habits and does good night mode by itself. Love, love, love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a small woman with even smaller wrists, the Galaxy Watch Active is exactly what I have been looking for in a smart watch. I have had a Gear 2 Neo, Gear S2, Galaxy Watch 42mm and now this 40mm Galaxy Watch Active and I have to say that each generation of watch has improved but this version is the best for me so far. The material of the new and improved band is soft and smooth, it does not irritate my skin at all even when I get sweaty. The new band also comes with an updated securing method for the strap, it is now a slot where you can slip the remaining strap under the band which keeps it more secure and prevents it from getting caught on things. The watch itself is so lightweight, I hardly realize I am wearing it. I have worn this watch for 3 days straight day and night only taking it off to shower and charge it and I have not been irritated by it at all which is not something I can say about other smart watch models I have owned before. The glass back of the watch sits smooth against my wrist and does not dig in to my skin. The newer One UI features are a big plus as well. Sleep mode allows me to wear the watch at night without accidentally triggering the screen to come on by turning off the wake up features and putting the watch in "Do not disturb" mode. The always on heart rate tracking allows me to keep on eye on my heart rate and will alert me if it goes over 120 or whatever I set it at, it also allows me to track the levels of my sleep more in depth than before. I love that I can now tap the screen to wake up the watch too. Coming from a device that has the rotating bezel I have had to re-train my brain to use only touch but the interface on the watch makes using touch easier than I thought it would be without the bezel. The display is bright and brilliant even in full sun. I have also become an adopter of Bixby with this watch, having never used it before and I am pretty happy with its responsiveness and ability to determine what I want. I went with this watch over the "full size" version the Galaxy Watch because of my small wrists and thought I may be missing out on something, but for an average user who mostly wants to track my health this watch has exceeded my needs and expectations.

Battery works great, its lasts about 2.5 days and its wireless charging. Takes about 2hours to charge from 0 to 100%. I am able to receive notifications on my wrist and also can respond to texts right from watch. I love that it lets me know when I haven't been active for a while and when I've reached my goals. I am happy with my watch and will recommend this to everyone. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my watch in rose color because I like that color.I was looking to upgrade my old watch and luckily I got picked for this one.It comes with an extra band which I like.I love how I can customize my watch face to any picture I want.I can answer calls and text with it.I also snooze my alarm on my phone instead me rummaging around for it in the early hours during the weekday.It tells me to get moving when I'm not active.I can check the weather and many other things.I am still learning many things from it.You will not be disappointed connection has been really good for me.I have a screen protector on it to protect it.It cleans off easily and set up was easy.I haven't come across any cons so that's a great thing for me.

Overall I love this watch. The only complaint like other reviews have said the battery life is not good. It does got a bit warm charging but not enough to burn the wrist. I use the charger that came with it and also use an aftermarket charger and no issues. Note: I do NOT use this as a fitness tracker however the reminders are helpful. I got this watch because I needed notifications for calls, messages and apps. For that, I have not missed anything. It's very nice to actually be able to read the whole message without having to go to the phone. Display is great. Took a little bit of adjustment to figure out settings. Overall a very good watch.

i bought this watch about 3 weeks ago. so far it's been really great. the battery life could be a tad better, but nothing that would be a deal breaker. plenty of watch face options, the ability to track my exercise and my phone messages is wonderful.
