I've used SD cards for many years they're great providing you don't lose them especially when it comes to transferring data some people erase their phones like me and never back it up this way you have a backup plan so to speak
I got a 256 and it fits in my android smart phone just perfect. Storage capacity is great for photos and videos. Overall this is a great investment for keeping memories lasting from device to device.
I love SanDisk been using them forever I have a few 500g memory cards for my Canon DSLR camera, but I brought this one for my temporary Android phone since it doesn't jave the space my iphone did and almost nothing is avle to be put on it. So if your buying for storage for your phone don't, but do use it for everything else!
Fantastic little SD card, I was looking online and compared the prices with Amazon and couldn't find anything with the amount of storage space. This one had anywhere near the price even when inside the store and they didn't have it for that price. I ordered it online and picked it up from the same store two hours later, half the price at least
it states in description it works on nintendo switch...yes but you have to do a quick update for it to work. once you place sd card in, your switch will prompt a system update. after that, then thr sd card is fine. just thought id throw that in bc it was a surprise for me. apparently any micro SD'XC' cards require the update
Really, the memory card is what you want and expect. What I didn't expect was after merely writing several reviews for various stuff here on Walmart's website that they'd really send me a $5 off coupon. Sounds like a scam? Yeah, except they don't broadcast it as a way to get you to do more reviews, it just happens after you hit a certain number, apparently. And for the love of God don't ask what that number is. I didn't keep track, but I'm guessing around a hundred at least. The only drawback to the credit voucher is you'll be using it online only (nobody in stores knows how to redeem them) and you'll need to make sure whatever your getting is sold and shipped by Walmart. Otherwise, it works as expected. Again, because this is really supposed to be a review about the SanDisk memory card, I'll say this. Regular %26 current price here for a 256 GB one is $15.60 plus tax. And it ships super fast too. Not to mention one of the best brands for memory cards. Look around. Many others are either way more money, by some weird %26 bizarre brand nobody has ever heard of or has an absurd amount of time for shipping (it's May 9th, I seen some that wasn't expected to arrive until mid July). So yeah, good luck beating this deal and quality both. If you need a memory card, just get this. And do some reviews on anything you have an opinion on, I'm not saying you'll eventually get a bonus, but you might.
I've always liked the SanDisk brand as IMO they manufacture superior SD cards nowadays they're a less expensive %26 the prices @ Walmart reflect that.
just takes a long time too download stuff off your phone, might work better with mac or differently type of computer but the translation on phones isn't there yet.
After inserting the SD card into my camera, it said "Uninitialized". This is normal for a new SD card, therefore I "format" it using the camera. I was then able to take photos like normal, however, once I have turned the camera off, the same message "Uninitialized" came up again. The SD card is unable to use and I bought the 256GB. I feel very disappointed.
Found this item on the Walmart website for $18.98. I went to the store to buy it and it was $34.98. They said they would not honor their online price. Went out to my car and did a temporary membership to Walmart and they delivered it to my house from that store in four hours for eighteen ninety eight. Poor management.
