Sauder August Hill L-Shaped Computer Desk, Mystic Oak Finish

I just set up the desk a couple days ago and so far I really enjoy it. The box is *extremely* heavy and a minimum of two very strong individuals are needed to bring it in. In regards to assembly, I was able to put it all together by myself but having another set of hands would have made things a bit easier. Review for the actual product: very solid and sturdier than I expected! The desk isn't *real* wood but instead has a plastic-like wood-pattern finish. I actually prefer this because it makes the surfaces so much smoother. I was concerned the desk might be too big based on the pictures but the size feels just right! The only negative thing I can say is that the book shelf is more shallow than I anticipated -- it is about the width of a notebook. It can definitely support wider objects like textbooks as long as you don't mind them hanging over the shelf a little bit. Overall I am very satisfied with the product considering the price. Would recommend.

This is exactly what I needed; a small footprint, right-handed corner desk. I love it! Took about 2 hrs to assemble, from opening package to final set-up. As with all veneered furniture like this you must be very careful with the edges to avoid dings & dents. Great buy as long as you're not concerned with surface durability - just be prepared to be careful to maintain the delicate finish.

Love it! It was easy to put together for having so many pieces and it is so sturdy and the perfect size for my home office. It looks like its worth much more. Amazing money spent.

This desk was an absolutely perfect fit & is a surprisingly sturdy table with good desk space. If you're hauling the shipped box up any stairs, get help ...strong help. 150lbs is nothing to scoff at. I have a gaming tower under the left(?) side of the desk - side without the shelf - and three 24inch widescreen monitors in the curve of the desk surface, in addition to what is panning out to be a tonne of work material to the left and right of the monitors, and there is still working desk space. The assembly instructions are straightforward and the finished product is pleasing. I was also extremely impressed at the shipment delivery time. My only suggestion would be that the complete dimensions be listed upfront in the product specs on the website, versus being in response to customer query. Overall, I would suggest this desk to anyone.

The desk is gorgeous and well exceeded our expectations on quality for the price! Worth every penny and minute it took to assemble. Instructions aren't super clear and some pieces weren't marked but everything was in the both and in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this desk. I absolutely love it!

After desk was finished being put together it turned out to be very sturdy and looks great. Only issue was how hard and confusing it was to put together. Pretty much took all day with 2 people.

This is a big heavy desk, very sturdy. Moving it around would be a big pain. Looks great nice and big. Every part fits together perfectly. Assembly is quite time consuming as there are a lot of parts. Instructions are thorough so it's easy to know how to put it together. Not like ikea instructions. You need a pretty large area to put it together.

The way they delivered my desk was awful- the box is damaged they left it on the first floor when I do not live on the first floor and I do not have an elevator so I could not lift it myself. Parts of the desk were falling out of the damaged box. I don't even know if I like the desk yet but the delivery was terrible.

This desk is so cheaply made with plastic hardware that either cracked in half or didn't work. a lot of pieces were missing or damaged. If I had time to send it back I would! Worst piece of furniture I've ever bought and for almost $300, you'd think it would be better quality. I'm sadly disappointed.

The product and parts are solid, nice after a long hour of assembling. It was a perfect design for my daughter's room. However, I would warn everybody of the risk regarding formaldehyde. The package I received was very smelly, which contained a lot of formaldehyde (I guess). I left the desk outside for 4 days before using it. However, that smell still remains. My daughter's lip just swelled without any reason and I don't know if formaldehyde is the reason to trigger that. I think the manufacturer should mention how to eliminate formaldehyde's smell for end-users in their user guide or something similar.
