About 6 months ago my husband passed away and we had too much property for me to care for. I down sized and moved to another state close to family. So my house now did not have but few kitchen cabinets and I did not want to spend ten thousand dollars adding cabinets. I purchased one of the tall cabinets and three of the base cabinets. I am a 62 year old woman and I found them easy to assemble. I read some reviews about the doors not being level. The first suggestion I have would be for you to level the floor where you intend to place the cabinet. These cabinets do have levelers on them which is wonderful and makes for easy leveling. Then once you place your cabinet where you want it to go, you will already know which side may need leveling. After you put your cabinet where you want it, again use the level to make sure your cabinet is level. After you have your cabinet level, then make any adjustments needed to level the doors. Primarily, leveling the doors is for up or down...as in one door may be higher than the other and that is done by tightening or loosening screws. It is very IMPORTANT that your cabinet be level but ALSO if you want flush fitted doors, you need to make sure you have good assembly. Good assembly means you want everything lined up perfectly and rather tight fitting. If you have one side off from the other, you may find a small gap in the doors. If u r assembling the cabinet by yourself, you may find attaching the doors much easier by laying the cabinet on its sides. Another tip is to have a flashlight or lantern or some such handy for light inside the cabinet when assembling. I believe these cabinets will out last me. I have some can food and packaged food, dish towels, crock pots, and a host of other items in these cabinets. Remember the WEIGHT LIMIT of the shelves. The tall cabinet is unfinished on the very top and does not call for weight on it...I put a placemat on top of it and put light weight basket. I am very happy with them and also the Sauder company is very friendly as I called and ordered two more shelves and they readily shipped them to me.
I love this cabinet, I put it together all by myself. Very sturdy and easy. I may be ordering a 2nd one soon.
I'm very happy with this product. It's well-made and doesn't look cheap. I needed to replace a media cabinet in my living room with a mid-sized one to store various miscellaneous items. This unit looked like it would meet my needs and match the other furniture closely enough. It came in a well-packaged box with well-written instructions and labeled, easy-to-assemble pieces. You'll need a flat-tip screwdriver, a hammer and a drill with a Phillips/star-tip attachment for this project. It took me about an hour to put the unit together by myself.
Very nice. Looks great in my four seasons room. Easy to assemble. Turned out just as pictured! I will be buying another one!!
Very nice cabinet. It comes with one shelf, I wish there were two or have the option to buy another one.
I ordered two of these to put in my hallway, next to each other, for storage of linens, table cloths, etc. - They arrived before the expected delivery date and were left on my front porch which is a good thing because the pre-assembled, packaged cabinets are a bit heavy to transport. Putting the cabinets together was a breeze! - All the parts were clearly marked and screws, bolts, washers etc. came packaged together in individual "bubbles", also clearly marked, so there was no hunting for or guessing at the correct hardware. Instructions were in clear and grammatically correct English :-). The first cabinet took about an hour to put in place, the second one half that time. - One tip: lay the cabinet on its side to put the doors on (door flat on floor.) We put the first set of doors on with the cabinet upright and had a bit of a hard time fastening the screws. Adjust the doors after you have put the cabinet where you want it. One feature I especially like is that the doors can be opened independently, that is, you do not have to open one door to be able to open the other as is the case with many cabinets. The price you pay is a small gap at the front.
I love this cabinet it has plenty space, and it is a beautiful piece of furniture. I am using in my kitchen for all my cake baking supplies. I love it.
ordered three of these cabinets at the lowest price on the internet. they are perfect for what i needed. and if i may mention.....the free shipping to my home was like a gift from walmart. thank you.
Makes my storage look neat and organized. I ordered 1 tall cabinet which is a little top heavy so just put heavy items on the lower shelves, and 2 shorter cabinets which are perfect.
This a really pretty cabinet. It's great just to store extra cooking pots in, for my kitchen. At first glance you think it's really pretty and blends well with all my other furniture in the house. Cons - for the life of me... I could not get perfect alignment with this cabinet. Resulting in the back board not being straight and other parts not aligning properly with the rest of the cabinet. Let me add, this week I've assembled 3 dressers, two side tables, the $40 stand up walmart lamp.... so I was really upset that I did all the others perfectly.. but on this cabinet I had the most trouble. Overall it's an okay purchase. It's not real wood. So I minus a star for that. And it was hard for me to assemble the cabinet with proper alignment so I minus a star for that. Had it have aligned properly... it would have had 4 stars and a finished look. I posted pics of one of the sides.. so you can see the premade holes were not drilled properly.. resulting in the alignmention sticking out.
